I just wanted to remind everyone of our Happy Hour 2x Points Promo for the month of June.

All the details can be found here, but I will touch on the main points below:


How It Works

From June 1 to June 30, 2012, accounts that have opted-in to the promotion will receive double the VIP Points on any real money games, MTTs and SnGs played between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM SERVER TIME - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week. It's that simple.
How Do I Enter?

Go to your Player Admin and click the 'Activate Promo' button. From that point on, your points will be tracked and doubled. It's that easy! One click means big points.

When will my bonus points be credited to my account?

The next day, before 2:00 AM SERVER TIME. Be patient - they'll be there.
Please note: BONUS points earned during the month of June will not factor into the tier you are placed in for July. You can, however, use these bonus points for VIP-point-for-cash exchanges, tourney entries and items from the VIP Store. It's still great value - we just wanted to let you know.

Can anyone confirm this promo is working? I wish i could've played more during these times, only gotten around to playing then once so far. However, it's still giving me a blank at the "Bonus VIP Points This Month : " line at https://secure.carbonpoker.ag/double-vip-points.html

Either the points aren't being credited at all, or it's just the page showing the points that's not updating?

When is server time. The whole adjust the clocks to whenever you want got rid of server time.

OK, without trying to confuse people, here is my best explanation of what "Serve Time" is, and how you can adjust your local time to it.

Server time is EST or Eastern Standard Time. Time zone offset: UTC - 5 hours

Currently, many Eastern States are observing EDT or Eastern Daylight Time, which brings the Timezone offset to: UTC - 4.

Just make sure you are working off of EST, and that will correspond to server time.

So, to clarify once again:

SERVER TIME = UTC - 5 hours.

Sever time is GMT-5. Since you're in the US, it's central time when we're observing daylight savings time (i.e. now), eastern time when we're not.

Bump. Again - can anyone confirm this promo is working?

It's blank for me oh well, maybe not working for Carbon players? seems unlikely since there'd prob be uproar.. Can anyone look into this, why isn't it working for me? Or maybe just a display bug?

I just checked my Real Money Ledger, and i have tons of games played at Friday 06/08/2012 from 11:02:14 AM onwards untill friday 06/08/2012 01:56:26 PM.

Yet my Bonus Vip Points is empty.

That's 4 days ago now, so.. not like i didn't wait for it to update (it tells you to be patient - they'll be there )

Are you 100% sure that you've opted in? It's not turned on by default...

Yep 100% sure i'm opted in, I'm probably one of the first to opt-in to almost all of these promo's. Since i check the site regulary etc.

There was an error in the script for players that had opted in before June 1st. It should be resolved now, and your admin should list the bonus points you've earned and have credited them to your account.
