Re: CarbonPoker.ag Withdrawal Thread
Interesting information Who_Yaw. I thought Ether players were treated differently, even if they did not say that. So that basically means, that making more than 2500 in two months is just worthless unless you want to go to the black market for your money?
Making 4000$ rake monthly is not enough to withdraw 2000/month? I planned to make some volume enough to reach Ether in coming months (hoping in different treatment), but maybe I would need some good arguments to do so.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Withdrawal Thread
My main thing is that I understand that it is taking a long time for our checks to be processed, I am a constant winner and make about 5k a month my ONLY problem with this situation is that we can not have more than one check in "processing" at a time. If I was able to just submit a check for processing once a week or hell once every other week and yeh I might have 4-6 checks out for processing at a time, but at least then I would know that I would have a constant income coming in every week or every 2 weeks, instead of every 2 months like it is now. Also, I don't remember reading anywhere that you can only have one withdraw out for processing at a time, when I first tried to do this and I got a message saying that I wasn't allowed, I was very very very surprised at this.
I totally understand the maximum withdraw amount since it is for checks and I also understand the large amount of waiting time that we are experiencing for the processing time, but as I said seems like an easy solution to just let people have more then one check in "processing" at a time. Do you think this is possible CarbonChris?

This has been discussed many times I know, and at the moment isn't an option.

It would help A LOT if this would become an option.
Or what about allowing people to modify the amount of their withdrawal request while it's pending but before it's approved, without having to start the whole process over? A lot can change in 2 months while you're waiting for a withdrawal. Sometimes you might want to request a larger amount, or maybe you go on a downswing and want to return some funds to your account and request a smaller amount.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Withdrawal Thread
Wow, I am considering getting back into poker on Carbon, but after reading this thread, I don't believe it is worth it. I've made all of my money from Internet poker the last five years (until the FBI fiasco), and over half of it the previous seven years. (I started in the Planet Poker days...anyone old enough to remember that?)
Cashouts are the most important thing to grinders and if there are THIS many problems with cashouts, I'm surprised anyone plays on the site at all.
Can we expect the cashout situation to improve dramatically in the short-term? Why are there so many problems? Is it a cash-flow issue? Similar to what FTP was doing with their so-called "Ponzi Scheme"? I don't see any other reason why cashouts should take so long.
Not trying to give you a hard time, but if I'm going to try to re-invest my life into poker, I need to be relatively sure that I won't be ripped off.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Withdrawal Thread
I can confirm that I spoke with someone in support yesterday and have been told that a batch of withdrawals will be processed next week. I don't have a lot more details than that at the moment, but will post in here when I do.

Thanks for the update Chris, appreciate the communication! Sorry if some of my posts ITT have been harsh, but improving the withdrawal situation should be Merge/Carbon's #1 priority and I hope you can convey that to the people in charge. For those of us who have a lot of money stuck on/stolen by Full Tilt it's hard to have much trust in the online poker industry.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Withdrawal Thread
I think most people just need to think about this logically, I was one person whom said FTP was not repaying players and overpaid themselves as owners and didnt want to speak to the public because they had no intention to give the money back... I was right about ftp just days after Stars already paid, and in this Carbon payment issue
Its clear the Carbon Poker is somewhat new as a Company and they have probably been spending lots of money on things similar to ftp, they are still foreign with owners who can really do what they want with player funds etc.. They are most likely delaying checks (mostly the bigger ones) in an effort to keep the money generating and not go bankrupt.. People must realize it doesnt take more then 2 weeks for even a small company to process and send checks anywhere in the world, its not rocket science, I still play at Carbon but at my own risk So i dont whine about the money or expect anything from them...

Am I allowed to scream bull**** on this one yet???
You're now perilously close to being "officially out" of the "official" time-frame of 6-8 weeks on mine. What sort of compensation do I receive from Carbon support? A bunch of bull**** excuses. If Bodog doesn't have a check in their players' hands in 2 weeks, it is an issue. It does not seem like it would take a genius to figure out how they accomplish this feat, and that their options would also be viable for Merge to utilize.
Anyway, I rant...waiting since 9/9, NO withdrawals were processed yesterday (and since it has been said that they are processed on Mondays I think it would be safe to assume no withdrawals are going to be processed this week), and you have a lot of pissed off customers...like I said in the other thread, how about you lower the 100k guar. to a 75k guar. and use the $10-20k you've been torching each week for the past few months in overlay and use it to invest in some research to discover new methods for withdrawing or just improve the withdrawal process in general.

Well, I apologize for calling bull**** on you Chris, as you obviously gave us the correct info, but I still don't think my 100-75 guar tourney idea is awful.
Anyway:
Req check 9/9 approved 11/1
