The $215 on the first day of Maximus (Event 2) has the old HR structure, can it have the new one instead?

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- Update Post #1089

serious question. why do freeze outs that get anywhere over 100+ pay top 18, but rebuys that get 150+, like the $4.4r 2K that has 163 runners today is paying top 15?

cant we just make it pretty simple? if it gets 100+, it pays top 18.

one time an $11 1k gtd deepstack turbo every hour! would 100% meet guarantee every time without a doubt. or just more $5, $11, $20 dst's in general! At least one every hour!

+1

Every hour from like 9-midnight server time at least. No way there's not at least 100 runners in an 11.

No please don't do that. Freeze outs that just get over 100 and pay 18 ruin the pay scale. Paying 15 is so much better. The closer to paying 10% of the field the better.

i'm not talking freeze outs. every freeze out I've played in that gets 100+ pays top 18. i'm talking rebuys that run during the day that get 160-180 runners and pays 15 each day. I think this should be top 18 like all the other tournaments.

i really like the Maximus tournaments for Saturday evenings. After Maximus, is there a chance we could see the schedule for Saturday in general worked? Maybe a Saturday early afternoon tourney ($33 10K) and maybe something like a tournament with a name like the Saturday Night Slugfest ($55 15K), i really think both of these would draw very well.

Yes actually. I think this is a pretty good idea. I can't promise that they will continue as soon as Maximus ends, but yeah I think we'll look at that.

+1. Merge is definitely in need of this. Most of the guarantees go down on Saturdays. I see no reason to mtt on a Saturday.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- Update Post #1089

The $90 -> $530 6man satty is poorly structured imo. 1500 chips and 5 minute blinds for a high buyin 530 sat?

No thanks
