re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)

rebuy system really needs to be fixed asap...as in auto-double rebuy, rebuy before the first hand, auto add-on, etc. soo tilting when you win a small pot in the first hand and cant rebuy...other stupid situations i've been in too like before the first break...

this seems like such an easy fix and has been mentioned many times in this thread yet still nothing.

Chris, is the 300/600 addition for STs an easy fix or something a bit more complicated?

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure. I will see if I can get to the bottom of this with Merge.

Carbon needs some turbo's at 2 and 5 dollar SNG HU. The site only has super turbos at that level.

re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)

You talked about possibly tinkering with the high stakes mtt schedule, is that something you are still looking to do? Would be awesome if you could find a way to squeeze most of them closer together so we don't have to register for a lot of the day.

Suggestion I have. Push the 14:00 $60 freezeout to start at the same time as the 15:00 $30 rebuy. The highroller and the late $60 freezeout start at the same time, why can't these ones also?

Here is an ideal and schedule I think everyone can agree on and would be quite nice.

15:00 $60 freezeout, $30 rebuy
16:00 $82 6max
17:00 $60 rebuy
18:00 $109 1r1a
18:45 $40 turbo rebuy
19:00 $215 highroller, $60 freezeout
19:30 $30 freezeout
20:00 $80 rebuy, $20 rebuy turbo
20:15 $30 deepstack turbo

Boom, that would be so nice if you could work something out like this. Would encourage people to want to play most of the tournaments that way, and would work out better for everyone. This would fit every highstakes tournament in a 5 hour window, instead of a 8 hour window which it is now.

it is not player friendly to cap or limit where you can use a tourney coupon.

example: player wins a $33 sat coupon but can only use it for "certain" $33 nightly gtd mtts. that is ridiculous. if you win a $33 sat coupon, a player should be able to play ANY $33 mtt, regardless what day of the week it is.

Thanks for this suchsickaments. I look at this, and it certainly makes sense to me. Does anyone else have any feelings on something that looks like this? Tweaks or suggestions?

I like it, but I hope the 21:00 $10,000 guar $30 r/a and 22:00 $12,000 guar $20 r/a will stay. Just add new tourneys and don't change the time of tourneys that are already on the schedule.

Having a couple $75-$150 freezeouts would be nice, especially if they have multiple satellites like the High Roller. Also, I know it has been mentioned before, but having a structure closer to Pokerstars in MTTs would be appreciated.

I like the new tourneys that have been already added, but the breaks aren't at :55 of the hour like the others and it is kind of annoying to have a bunch on tourneys on break with 1 still going
