------
FruitFly Room - Super Turbo STT
Buy In: $1.00
Fee: $0.06
------
Nice addition, imo.
Rake observation:
$1 = 6%
$2 = 8% <<----- oops
$5 = 6%
$10 = 5%
$20 = 4.5%

Adding $1s is awful considering the $2s dont run enough as is.
The rake is pure robbery at all levels

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)
Seems like it should have some possibility of "stimulating the economy" without killing the $2s. Just a total guess, obv.
I guess they'll milk the rake on these as long as they can -- mbn to have a near monopoly. Hard to be sure without access to the actual numbers, but it does seem like they've slowed down a bit recently.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)
Ya traffic is way up. Josh was getting in 200 games an hour the other day.
Chris, I dont get adding a 1 dollar super turbo. The 2s are pretty dead and i dont see many of the .10 grinders now moving up because the next price point is $1 instead of $2 I think adding either a $7.50 one or a $15 one would be better for both your total rake and for grinders. I think the $15 one with 4.7% rake would be the best. There are a lot of grinders that play 20s and above now that might add that one in but wont add in 10s now.

As with almost all of the changes that are made, it's something that we'll evaluate going forward. Nothing is really set in stone, and if we find it's negatively effecting other games, it's something that will be looked at.

lol @ 200 games per hour. Indeed I remember him gushing about how supers were loading so fast for him. </sarcasm>
Just noticed the $1 sups start with 1500 chips. Nice. Better rake AND structure than the $2s

@Bolded Part: I only play now when i think I can get 125+ games/hr, the last week I've avg'd 165/hr. I think Ruse is still getting nearly the same # of games/hr, maybe slightly higher maxing out around 100 games/hr. Nobody gets more than him either (maybe norcalchemtrails but i dont think so) because everyone is god awful at multitabling, I end up 25+ tabling a lot of the time without problem; most from what I see avg ~10-15 tables up at a time.
Okay Chris, so you added $1.06 super turbos that start deeper stacked than the $2s....how do you defend the fact that the $2.16's are raked at 8% and the $1.06's are raked at 6%?

The $2 supers are now raked at $0.12 ---- weeeeee! Maybe there's hope after all.
Next up, structure change or rake on the $5 supers?

 thanks Chris
And yea, honestly, the rake is too high at every level, but i guess slowly stepping in the right direction is better than no steps being taken at all

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #144 (10/19/11)
Chris,
Hand for hand at Final Table bubbles is weird. Hand for hand stops once 9 players remain. However, the final two tables do not merge until both tables have played a hand. If one hand is taking a long time at one of the tables, the other table has, at times, played upto 5-6 hands. The hand for hand should remain in effect until the tables have merged.
Hope this makes sense. If not, I'll explain in more detail.

Thanks for for input tyson219. Our Development Team needs a bit more information here to look into this situation. Can you please provide me with and specifics? Tournament ID's and/or Hand ID? Anything that would help us zero in on the issue.
