Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

What do I have to do to get money onto the site? I see it has a credit/debit card option but I'm guessing it is not that easy. I'm from some states in America ldo and would prefer a p2p transfer as opposed to the western union route but I'm not sure how to do either.

Hi,

Im not 100% sure exactly what you want me to answer, but from what you wrote, here is my best guess.

- Credit cards are hit or miss. Some have higher success rates than others, with no real rhyme or reason as to why.

- You can accept p2p transfers at any time, without any need for verification prior to the transfer being received. If however, you want to send funds out, you need to go through the verification process.

- Western union is more than likely your best option for reliability and speed of processing. You just need to follow all the instructions, then make sure to enter you MTCN back in the cashier once you have been down to the WU agent and actually sent the transaction.

I hope these answers help you out. If not, please don't hesitate to ask a more specific question.

That's exactly what I was wondering, thank you. So if I want to buy funds from a friend of mine irl I don't have to wait on a verification process. But if I want to cash out I do right? How easy and how much time does that usually take.

Yes, if you want to make a withdrawal, or send a player transfer, you need to verify your account.

In 90% of cases the verification process is smooth and easy. It can typically take up to about 5 days, but many times is much faster.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

Carbon Chris and Carbon Ryan,

I got scammed by a player named fatboy124 by posting on pokerwallets. He seemed legit and talked about Carbon Chris a lot and said he even requested my document approval get finished faster. He told me he got a message that my approval was almost done and it was. He said he was AUGUY55 on 2p2 and I checked the verifiable transfers. He told me could only do up to 200 on from Carbon to Bovada which was another good move by him, sounded legit. The guy was smooth. I am begging for you to request the player transfer to be reversed. I requested the reverse from Carbon Poker for $50.00 and told them I would never do a transfer again. Please help! I posted this in a new thread before I saw the P2P thread you already made.

I have sent a request to the security team to look into this, but I will need your player ID to continue.

Thanks for that.

This is the reply I got from Merge Security:

Quote:
After checking the account for the player in question we can confirm that he is in good standing with us, he is an old player and there’s no suspicious activity on his account therefore the account will not be Held; we will need you to please request the player that complained to please contact fatboy124 once more and try to solve this matter with him.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

Wow, he is in good standing because he constantly has money in his account from scamming people. Fatboy124 hasn't responded since my transfer. Before that he would respond right away. A google search of his name also show many alias' he has used. I have all the emails I could provide security if that would help. I think I would be very disgruntled with Carbon security if that is their final stance. I will provide any emails requested from this scammer and a simple google digging shows the guy has scammed others. I should have done a better job checking but the guy was smooth.

Hi,

Yes, I would definitely recommend sending those emails to support, along with your grievances.

Please CC us in at viphost@carbonpoker.ag so we can keep track of the issue.

Hi there, I just found this thread. Another poster informed me thru PM what has happened. It's unfortunate that you apparently got scammed.

This is not me and I had nothing to do with this trade outside of 2+2.

2+2 is the only forum I am active on and the only message board I visit on a daily basis.

I do have a verified account on Carbon but I never traded or even played on the account. You can check my trade history in the p2p thread if you want to verify this. I have only ever traded with my Black Chip Poker account and my Lock account.

My Carbon sn is clamnewton for search purposes.

I have never traded or attempted to trade any poker funds outside of 2+2.

I'm again sorry you have been apparently scammed. It's a shame someone is using my good trading reputation to scam someone. I hope you get this resolved.
