Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

is it true that they are cutting down on transfers and the max transfer is like 1k per month or something? i hope not because if so a lot of people are going to be pissed off and quit playing on there.

You are going to lose a TON of people if you limit it to 1k per month.

If you guys are trying to push people to Lock Poker, you are doing a good job.

Well some news and some information would be highly appreciated on this topic so, we have something to discuss. I don't really understand the point of starting this thread if there is no clarification on what the changes are going to be. As an affiliate, a lot of my business is affected by the by the ability to be able to stake my players and or new customers coming to the site. This is going to be really difficult w/ the current structure. I've refrained from commenting, as I was to receive news and/or clarification from you or carbon regarding this in the next day or so.

So, I really don't want to start a discussion w/o getting some type of input from you and/or carbon in regards to what is going on, and if it is a permanent change, or, if it is just needing to be fixed. TYVM -Cookies

crossposted from that other thread

it says I can not initiate a transfer because I have reached my limits..how we are supposed to operate if we run a stable and have horses to send money with back and forth?

this is just temporary, right?

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

Ok, I've just heard back from some that some affiliates are still able to transfer manually thru support. Chris can we get official word if this is fine and, if so can we get a email set up for it?

And if not, why are some allowed to do so, while the vast majority of us are not.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

Hey Chris, Is there anywhere that shows what my transfer limit is? Do the limits vary from player to player? Who do I need to contact to find out what my limit is to transfer to another player. Can you advise me of this amount? Thanks.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

I emailed support twice yesterday. The fist time because I couldn't find the transfer option in the new software. The second time was 25 minutes later about the transfer cap. I got a response on where to find the transfer option but still nothing on the transfer cap. It seems like Carbon is just ignoring this. If I can't do transfers, then I am 100% leaving carbon because this was my one and only work around the 3 month withdrawal time when I needed a faster cashout.

The Transfer limit needs to be removed or at least raised (by a lot).

Carbon says this upgrade improved things, well this would be 1 step forward and at least 10 steps back.

Leave the 'To Player Name" field blank. Then type a big amount in the 'Amount' field of the transfer form. Press tab. If the amount exceeds your limit, you will get a waring in red letters informing you of this and what your limit is. If you get nothing, then the amount doesn't exceed your limit.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Player to Player (P2P) Thread

Chris-

To now impose a limit on transfers would simply be rediculous. Ive done 10's of thousands monthly for a while now...never with any problems, complaints or otherwise. Its all mutual between adult players.

For the sake of Carbon...please, please, please, just use the system you've had in place this whole time.

Not to mention...your cashouts...are small, slow, and unreliable. So to restrict transfers is insane! What if a small time player binks a Sunday tourney for 35k???

They can request a 2500 check once every 4-6 weeks and hope it doesnt bounce once they receive it...and cant transfer to another Carbon player??? lol

wow!!!

I know poker sites ultimate goal is to keep money on the site, because the longer the money is there, the more rake will be generated. Thats why p2p transfers are great for the poker site...cuz it keeps the money constantly on the site! Without substantial p2p ability...you will see a DRAMATIC increase in cashout requests. I guarantee that.

this, we must have our transfers increased ASAP. Merge Action will be nowhere close to what is was with these new transfer restrictions. I am Jessica48 on Carbon and would appreciate it if you could go ahead and increase all my transfer limits as high as possible.
