Hey Ryan/Chris etc,
I'm trying to get a deposit in via WU. My deposit MTCN was 'declined' but I don't know why as all the info is definitely correct. Is there any way to get in touch with someone besides waiting on emails? Last time I had this problem (18 months ago) I was able to call and get things resolved quickly. I'd really like to start playing again! :\

Hey Jerle,

Going from what other players have said, you need to ensure that the WU agent selects, Phillipines USD, and not just Phillipines for the destination.

THe funds need to be sent in USD, or they are not accepted.

That is the first thing I would check.

I sent it online. Just called in and had them change the receiver name to a new one but I definitely have it set up to be sent in USD.

Is there any way I can just go through this issue with someone who works in your cashier dept or something? A live chat or w/e? >.>

Unfortunately, that isnt possible.

If you have questions on the process, the players here in the forum will have much more experience and knowledge than probably even our cashiers. These are the guys that have to work with the process every day. I think if you post a question here, the community will be able to give you a very quick answer.

Righto. Well we'll see if the new MTCN/new receiver name goes through, and if not I'll be back to grumble and ask for advice.

my guess is it has something to do with the space in my last name. Maybe if I had the 'von' removed from my official name it'd make this problem stop cropping back up :\

Deposited today using my ***** Visa debit card. Everything went smoothly & quickly. My advice is to use a similar card backed by a big bank. Rinky Dink Savings Banks are weak regarding international commerce. Thanks to the Carbon crew for all their help.

Sorry to edit your post, but putting bank names on the forum is not a great idea.

You will more than likely find that it wont work for too much longer if you do.

Did you use your CC to deposit?

Sometimes CC companies put a hold on the charged amount as security over the transaction amount. It will look like a double charge, but it is just a hold of funds.

I would contact your card company first and just confirm that they are indeed two separate charges, and not an authorisation hold. If they work out to be two separate charges, we can work on how to resolve it then.

Yeah, I have seen it quite a lot over the years. More frequently in the last couple of years since all the issues started tho.
