thanks for the feedback.....just tried a Vanilla Pre Paid and it didnt work out so well. Hey Chris, can you fiddle with my account because i have tried a few times with this prepaid, and now it wont let me do it at all because i have reached my limit for trying?....just gonna do it the old fashion way, with a CC.

What is the maximum I can deposit on Carbon using a credit card? I'm US. Also, whatever that limit may be, would I be able to deposit the maximum again the following day or is there some sort of restriction put on that? Thanks

Contemplating making my first deposit as a US player. Probably gonna end up using the WU method.

Do I need to initiate the deposit via "cash transfer" option in the Carbon deposit screen. Or do I need to do it via WU first then enter some type of code into the Carbon cashier window.

For those who have tried this method, did you prefer doing all online or going to an actual WU location. Pro's and con's of both would be appreciated.

Start it on the Carbon end first because you'll need the "send to" name that Carbon gives you. After sending, WU will give you a code (MTCN, if I recall correctly) that you then give to Carbon.

I've done both in-person and online with no major problems. Online I use the "instant transfer" option. Online is a bit more expensive I think, but can also be more convenient. In-person, you will need enough cash to cover the transfer amount and fee. Remember to have the money arrive in US dollars.

I deposited $600 via WesternUnion on the 14th and it took about 5 minutes. I did it online. If you think going to the actual location nearest you is a hassle(which it is), then sign up for their online service. They send you a letter in the mail with a pin number which you use to verify your account. This takes 2-3 days, but after that you are good to go. Money transfers take only minutes without leaving your house and I received a coupon for 1/2 off the WU fee for my first transfer.

Also, don't forget to transfer funds in USD when using this option.

Thanks for this. This is actually pretty valuable info for people considering the WU option. Sounds like the online process, once set up, is really the way to go.

Just Deposited using WU and it worked PERFECTLY.... took less than 5-6 minutes to be approved.
