Multiple accounts on different skins
Seems like any a**hole can really make a new account on merge if they desired and play someone without giving any information out or any idea of who they are or what stakes they actually play.. People like me can be targeted pretty easy, and imo i think its the same thing as multi accounting of which ftp and stars is completely against.. And so Am I..
I think there should be a way to have access to all the id's of accounts under the same name that are within the same network (merge).. For example when a new player sits with me, I should be able to click on the player name and see the other listed Id's under his name on the merge network, even family id's imo..
Carbon Poker ID: OMGTIMDWAN
One of the Merge skins screwed me, a player with new account came on specifically to play me.. Ive noticed I constantly would have 4 players or so viewing my hu matches.. Quickly after a nice little upswing the player zerocreds with a new account sits and without any info on him as a new player I give it a shot. He plays 79% of hand while i play 65% and we play for a long time.
As the match got longer I noticed this guy hasn't made a single incorrect play vs me betting big building pots to bet big value on river when i only have one pair and he had no outs what so ever (he showed his hand a couple times), everytime i bet big strong he folds, yet the couple times I did it with mostly a semi-bluff he called both times with bottom pair and horrible kicker on a disgusting board of which he won both of... In short Im 100% sure he wouldnt have played any diff if he could see my cards the entire match..
Did i get cheated? I have no idea, my guess is hes either a pro that decided to fk me over after stalkin my games, or it was a employee (owner etc) thats my personal belief.. And its funny this player only came on to play me, hasn't played at all since, just the one night vs me... "zerocreds" I know who ever did this, it was done for a personal reason, and I know this is the toughest player ive played in a long time, there are a handful of hands that really really stick out to me as odd, yet I could see the level of thinkin this a**hole was using vs me and it pisses me off, or i was cheat i dont know...

Re: Multiple accounts on different skins
To start off here, I can appreciate the difference between playing on our network versus where you've played in the past. It is different that a player can have more than one account on the network(though not in the same game at the same time), but this is a reality that everyone playing on the network is aware of. It is not a secret or hidden situation, and anyone is free to open up an account on a different skin. It is worth noting however, most players do not spread significant action over multiple skins, as it hinders their ability to achieve higher VIP rewards within all the individual programs of the skins they are playing under.
If you are suspicious of the hands you played against this player, feel free to post HHs, and the community can have a look, and review if there's something as fishy as you're implying. Whether someone had it out for you personally or not, that unto itself is not cheating. The situation you are implying that the player was an employee, or could see your cards, is not possible, and what you've supplied is FAR from proof of it. Having said that, we're happy to review the hands in question, as well as forwarding them to our support team on your behalf.

Thanks for the reply, although regardless what a representative tells me its still possible that I could have been cheated by someone at Carbon, I would say its much less likely and was probably a higher stakes player who targeted me for personal reasons. But in all reality its absolutely possible I could have been cheated, no one would admit to it anyways so its useless to go over the hands..
I still know that the right thing to do is allow all players to see all the accounts listed under ones name and or family member under one network.. I know this is right and the fairest way to run multiple skins under one network, without players being targeted or cheated.. Multi accounting is cheating really and its allowed this way.. Not to mention it will be very clear to most knowledgeable players whether someone is using another family members account illegally as the stats will display this..
I was targeted by a player that had no business playing at my level. He used a new account and has only used the account 1 day to screw me over, it was personal.. Its completely clear to me he was either very very skillful or cheating so either way Ill never know the truth but I should at least without question be able to know his other account names on the network...

You're quite paranoid. You do realize it's possible someone just started that account recently and just ended up playing you...

I suppose we're at a stalemate if you're not even willing to post the hands. It seems outlandish to claim you were cheated if you aren't willing to provide even any piece of evidence to back it up at all. The rules of the network are that creating an account at different skins, is completely allowed. By playing on the network, there is an assumption that you are comfortable with that. It is not a secret, or something that nobody knows about. With that being common knowledge, nobody is given an unfair advantage.
Unfortunately, if you were targeted for personal reasons, because a player felt that it was a +EV situation, we can't stop that.

No we are on the same page, I think it was much less likely I was cheated, just simply saying it is possible (which is a fact).. If you replay my session vs zerocreds which im sure your completely capable of doing as a representative, you will notice how incredibly perfect this guy plays against me, to the point where it makes me sick, i know im skillful at hu..
Ok you cant stop an a**hole from targeting me for +ev or other personal reasons I know this.. But you can list all merge network names that are of the same person under diff skins, and I KNOW this would have prevented me from being cheated by a "legal" multi accounting a**hole who'd made a new account knowing I wouldn't play him otherwise..
Not implying this is carbons fault in anyway, unless i was cheated, just simply saying why not list all merge network ID's together.. Im sure it can be done, so why not.

Yes this is possible, is usually my first instict.. But Im not being irrational right now or paranoid, matter of fact im not even mad about the money at all, rather more pissed how bad I got pwned, and how it went down that makes me angry..
To see more then the usual amount of people watching my tables and end up playing a brand new account when I clearly only play the real loose players, makes me realize I was targeted by him as he's here to play me no one else.. With the extremely high skill level of this guy I dont believe this was a random person on a brand new account. I can tell the difference, this guy was brutally good or cheating im sure..

Re: Multiple accounts on different skins
Stop bumhunting and accept matches vs the good player on his main account and he won't have to make a new account to **** you over with.

Unfortunately at the lower level limits its close to never +EV to play even a decent player hu, as you will be losing to rake in the long run either way.. Not to mention the mental torture of pushing a small edge vs opp+rake will make you feel like your wasting your time quite often.
Unfortunately this a**hole left after 8 buy ins and I wasn't really able to adjust as I was confused initially.. I believe I can break even on him now, but not with rake continuously adding up, its a battle not worth attempting..
