I think his schedule makes a lot of sense. I would prefer to keep the the $60 at 1400 because it sucks to not have anything mid stakes grindable until 4 pm on east coast.

Also, it seems that some of the 30r/30c/55r start with 3000 chips and some start with 1500. I would prefer that the tourneys that go off later in the night start with 1500 and the earlier one have 3000. Or maybe put more chips at the higher buyins idk, just somethign to think about

and more new turbos please! or turbo night!

I like the new tourneys that have been already added, but the breaks aren't at :55 of the hour like the others and it is kind of annoying to have a bunch on tourneys on break with 1 still going
+1 to this

SnG Changes

With regards to 6 man Super Turbo SNG's, the following changes have been implemented.

- At $52 (Coyote Room) up to $512 (Killer Whale Room), 6 Man Super turbo Sit and Go's have been changed to include a blind structure which now has a 300/600 level.

Too bad action has been dead past the 20s the last few weeks .

I've had seshes where I haven't gotten a single 36.50/52 to pop which seems insane, all the bad regs that used to play up to 52s only play up to 20s now .

Oh well, thx for adding the blind levels there, good start. Thx for listening to the regs feedback once again

Well that's disappointing.

Is the change off the table now for buy-ins below $52?

UPDATE

With regards to 6 man Super Turbo SNG's under $52 will remain unchanged for now, however, we will assess and evaluate whether or not these will also be changed in the future.

Thanks.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)

Really...? Basically every high vol reg in these games has requested this level, and the current jump has the blinds 2.5xing (200/400 - 500/1k)...it just makes no sense, logical progression, etc etc. Can't we just get this level added across the board? The rake on these is high, edge is low, and variance is absolutely insane as is...

Yea +1 to this, Chris you realize the $7s on Pokerstars ($6.71+0.29) have lower rake than the $5.30s ($5+0.30) on Merge!!?? That's pretty absurd if you think about it now isn't it!? You wanna know how it's even more absurd....the Pokerstars games start 25 bbs deep instead of 10 and the structure goes 10/20, 15/30, 20/40 etc while the Merge games go straight from 50/100 to 100/200. The lower the edge in the game, the lower the rake needs to be.

Here's some other info; Pokerstars runs hyper turbo satties to a lot of tourneys all day long, and the rake for example on a $11.22 to a $33 is $0.22 ($11+.22) and the structure on those is pretty much the same as on Merge, 25/50 blinds with 500 chips to start straight to 50/100, 100/200 etc. What Merge is charging for rake on their super turbos is pure robbery.

I would have maybe continued grinding on Merge (superturbos being 95%+ of my volume), but without any positive change really in the ST category, there's no way which is why I've got myself completely booked with a condo in Mexico and I'll be leaving on Nov 1st; Merge will be losing it's highest volume super turbo player on the entire network of the last 2.5 months since I started playing there (obv woulda continued putting in the volume I do as well).

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Tournament Improvement Thread -- UPDATE on Post #124 (10/17/11)

So really Merge(not you Chris) is worried about the low buy-ins not ending quick enough at lower buy ins? The difference in adding 3/6 is negligible.

I hear you guys on this. Trust me. It's something that is being looked at and it's a constantly moving process. We've made a lot of adjustments in the last few weeks, many of which have been recommended on these forums, and that will continue. Let's just give it a bit of time, and we'll see what else can be done.

not really because you cannot use it for $33 MTT $9500 GTD on Sunday 19:15. so it looks like anything BUT that one. correct?

and so if thats the case, why does a couple k more in gtd disqualify you from using the sat ticket? doesnt make sense....

Also I think this was said in an earlier post. I'd love to see some consistency in stack sizes. It really is pretty inconsistent. You could have short stack, regular, deep, and super stack mtts. Then everyone knows exactly what they're playing especially guys like me who are 8+ tabling.
+1 to having consistent starting stacks. Kind of tilting to register for a non-turbo that starts with 2K chips, and has reached 50/100 40 mins in. Idk about doing 15 min blinds for every non-turbo though - perhaps 12.

Thanks & we realize that, just a weird thing to do it for the higher BIs only

Thanks again for all you do!
