Re: CarbonPoker.ag Client Improvement Thread

You shouldn't be allowed to late reg tournaments after the addon and rebuy period is over.

I am confused by what happened in this $1,750 Guaranteed $5.50 1 Rebuy 1 Addon tourney that I just entered. I joined 35 minutes late and the rebuy/addon period is already over? It's not a turbo.

Pretty annoying while multi-tabling. Please cap the bet size at the player's current stack size in addition to the pot raise!

The preferred seat option is tricky to find, granted you only need to set it once for each game type, but if it was in the regular Settings menu that'd be awesome.

Cashier button link doesn't work.
They both seem like pretty valid requests. I'll pass them along to see how difficult it will be in implement.

Hi dankhank,

Can you send me the tournament number of the tourney in question along with your player ID?

You can PM it to me if you like.

Cheers,

Ryan

Is there any ETA on when version 6.0 will be released, and what changes we can expect to see?

I'm sure its been said in here somewhere to have the cashier be in client as opposed to online. As well, there should be something in the cashier area that lets you know what tourney tickets you have.

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Client Improvement Thread

Been playing for a couple weeks now and I like the software quite a bit. Having one problem, however.

When the waiting list notice pops up to give me my seat it doesn't pop to the front. It'll stay behind tables. It also doesn't make a sound or flash in the taskbar or anything. So I have to constantly be clicking on the lobby to see if I'm up on a table. When I eventually miss out ithe waiting list gets all buggy.

I don't see anyone else complaining so just me?

Re: CarbonPoker.ag Client Improvement Thread

Sorry If I'm doubling or tripling here, didnt read all the posts, but since these things dont yet exist/ have been fixed, I guess saying it again cant hurt.

One big problem is the screens not popping up right when play over 12 tables. Ive posted this in the bugs thread. And really, even under 12 tables still has lag in them, somewhat erratic lag, where sometimes a table will pop up, sometimes it will pop up but right when you click your action it does that action on another table. Im using Windows 7, and when I play 12 tables it shows a picture of them in my task bar when I hover my cursor over the carbon poker logo. Over 12 it just puts them in list form, meaning I cant see which table is requiring action, and I generally end up timing out of them.

2nd is that you should put in an auto buy in feature.

3rd, you should have a layout to overlapped maximized tables.

4th, make the scroll bar work.

Im sure there are more but this is a start.

Thanks for the feedback, I have raised the table issue with Merge again today, and am waiting to hear back on what, if any, more information I can get from you guys to assist them in replicating the issue.

Cheers,

Ryan

Carbon Poker is awful

I just opened an account two days ago on Carbon and I will be deleting my account ASAP!! Its tough enough trusting online poker companies, but I will not be giving the third degree when it comes to withdrawing my winnings.

Carbon from what I have noticed is not user friendly anyway. Their software needs a lot of help. I'm surprised this software has been around for as long as it has and is still pretty cookie cutter. I played on Pokerstars for 7 years and they knew how to make poker software very user friendly. One major flaw this site has is in its filter you can not select the limits you want to play, you can only select low, medium, high. How bout letting myself and others be able to select the blinds we would like to play to make it easier to find tables, especially when it comes to searching for tournaments. The tournaments suck anyway as there is never a decent turnout. Either way, I was highly disappointed with this software. They also charge a service fee when you deposit money that I just saw on my statement that I was never warned about.

If you have not downloaded their software, don't, it needs a ton of work!

I apologise you didn't have a good experience.

I agree that the filters need help, as it is difficult to sort through the lobby as it sits now.

Merge are working on getting the the newest incarnation of their software update ready for release. As far as we hear, a lot of the issues you describe above are being addressed.

Re: Carbon Poker is awful

glad you admit the lobby filtering is horrible.

its REALLY simple to program new filters, shockingly one of the easiest parts of the software to program yet its still not done. It is a basic logic/display filter, so easy. Just allow us with checkboxes to pick the stakes we want displayed, not High Stakes and Low Stakes etc
