My experiences could not have been more different. You are talking about the Horseshoe in Tunica, right?

Horseshoe has never been a problem, dealers are just fine, floor is not a problem -- Been going there for years. travel from Las Vegas to Tunica in the RV and enjoy my stay there every time-- Been a littlewhile since I have floated through, but the game with Sandy and the boys is GREAT---Is that 20-40 still running, TIME FOR A TRIP THAT WAHY---

Confirm the game is still running Fri-Sun and it's always a pleasure to be at Sandy's table... unless he's on your immediate left.

I live in Tunica, play at most of the rooms 4-6 days a week and this is definitely not true.

Say what ya want...its been my experience on 4 different occasions..and the rudeness wasnt directed at me...it was directed at people that did nothing to warrant the abuse...good luck at the tables but they have gotten the last of my business...I'd drive to Biloxi if the Horseshoe Tunica was my only option to play

I agree. I've only been there about 5 times but I've always been impressed with the majority of the dealers and floor at the Shoe. Very well run room, better than most I've been in.

Anyone know if you can get the pokerrate for a room and keep the room on a by renewal basis?

I think I might come spend next week in Tunica. Hopefully it will be busy on weekdays as well as the weekend.

IMO had more rude experiences at the goldstrike and way less (none) comps, Horseshoe for the win.

All these "experiences" you guys have in various rooms, you think are so unique of the particular room. In fact, if you go into any poker room long enough, you will see "incidents" of every description.

Played 1-3 NL @ Harrah's Thursday. 1 table there and 1 4-8 table. About the same amount of action there as b4 the flood.

Gold Strike is running 1 sometimes 2 1-3 NL tables a day.

Horseshoe is as steady as before, good action on the weekends Sat. is pretty much a guarantee for a good 20/40.

Basically- all is back to as it was before maybe a little slow w/ WSOP in Vegas kicking off. IE: Regulars like myself heading out to Vegas later in the week to try a couple of WSOP events.

Everything is pretty much back to normal, no water got into the boats so no remodeling was necessary not even carpet.

In Nashville, the Strike is running radio adds to the effect that they're open and "better than ever before."

They musta hung a new picture in the lobby or some such.

Man, it sounds like poker has been and is still struggling in Tunica. When i played there it always seemed to me like it was a poor poker market relative to the amount of casino space (anyone know how it compares to AC in the aggregate?). Sounds like it's just gotten dryer.

Glad to hear mid-limit is going well such as it is. I think Mason Malmuth is way over the top with his assertions about LHE vs. NLHE, but this does validate the essential theme that good limit games can keep going in the fact of "I CAN SHOVE IN ALL MY CHIPS AND WATCH THEM RUN OUT THE BOARD FOR MY TOURNAMENT LIFE!!!!!!111 (and then rebuy 7 times and do the same thing)."

All casino games and slots in Tunica are off from a couple of years ago not just poker. Getting to be a casino near everyone and people don't have to travel as far to find one.

LOL--- I was playing there early last week and one of the flat screens fell off the wall... twenty feet away from being a rich man!!!

But, all the casinos look good, The Strike does have a great poker staff too.. it's just slow all over, hopefully the action will continue to pick-up.

The WPO will be coming up and I'm guessing that will drag in alot of live action.

I saw a pic of the water halfway up the Harrah's glass doors - they had no damage?

Played at the Horseshoe the past 2 weekends - seemed pretty busy then - had to wait for 1/2 NL about 15-20 minutes
