You're not kidding. The floor tells me it's pretty much hopeless. Some Fridays the 20/40 doesn't go. May be some shot on that rare occasion.

I've heard that on Sundays a 6/12 goes that is a mix lowball game a lot of dealers play in, so maybe it was that? Sunday was also the big money give away day, so if 6/12 LHE was up it was likely due to that.

2/5 (and sometimes 5/5) NLHE goes almost every night these days. 20/40 limit Friday-Sunday, hard to get a seat sometimes. PLO I don't know about. We just had a PPC event this weekend, and it was packed, but not a lot of PLO was going. 10/20 LO8 went though.

I imagine there would be even more going on during a circuit event. It was like going to a different place during this PPC event.

During this years WSOP Circuit event, 2/5 no limit happened everyday, 20/40 limit happened as well... As for PLO action, several 1/2/5 PLO and Big O games happened daily, 2/5 big O ran many days, and then the big plo (can't remember stakes, but was large) ran many days...

I see it going sporadically late on weekends. Some 25-50 mix has been going really late as well sometimes. Dealers told me the mixed game was 4 handed, very deep stacked.

The BBJ was hit on Thursday. Loser got $16,000, winner got $11,000, every hold'em player got $1200. I was playing my usually 4/8 hold'em game until about an hour before because the table broke. Was playing O8 when it was hit and didn't get a damn thing. Luckily, I scooped a few big pots for some consolation.

Semi-regular. I think they try to get it going every other weekend or so. It can play very deep from what I understand.

Driving south for Thanksgiving and unsure if we should stop at Tunica for the night. Can I expect any other NL action than the one or two tables of 1/2 that I've seen at the Horseshoe the last couple times?

Does anybody have experience with staying with a baby at Gold Strike / Horseshoe?

There's usually more tables than than that. BUT you're coming through on a holiday. That may be lowering the number of tables. Not sure about the baby part. Don't think it'd be a problem given that you get non smoking rooms. But the rest of those properties are smoking. I'm sure you know that tho.

If you mean on Thanksgiving or the night before, I wouldn't count on there being anything other than 1/2 NL and 4/8 FL going. If you mean the weekend, you'll find some 2/5 and maybe 5/5 NL.

Some people do their thing on the weekends
