if you run like God, and can dodge 5 people to the river (basically meaning you make the nuts each hand that you play).

There is definitely some interest, and I'm talking to some posters, but people are just lazy to organize it.

As an update, lost 2 buyins at Seneca playing NL200. Lost an all in preflop 3 way where I had KK vs. AQ vs. ??. AQ made a full house - Aces full of jacks. So sick. The next one I 3bet QQ on the BTN and get smooth called by KK by the original raiser. Flop is dry, gets checked to me and I shove. Player tanks and he calls with KK. So sick. The slowplay of KK was enough for me to leave and take a walk outside.

Hopefully everyone's running well.

Edit - I had to flop shove, as I only had enough in my stack for a pot sized bet. At this point there was no way of getting away from the hand, especially since there was no way in hell I put him on QQ+. I figured JJ was what he had.

Me too, if you decide 519'ers are worthy

word.

Used to play 4-6 times a month only at 2-5.

now playing ~10 times a month, half 1-2 half 2-5 depending who's in the room.

Yes sir.

should be there tomorrow night trying to scoop some of the action.

If i can get there in the afternoon might play some 1-2 and see how the 2-5 shapes up, otherwise i'll play whatever i get a seat at first.

100 hours live is still a fairly small sample size. also, there's no way of tracking this.

anyway, if you think that you can beat it, then goodluck.

the sample size is irrelevant. if the game is unbeatable and i offer a bet saying i can beat it for $30/hr for any amount of time, you have an edge. over 100 hours that edge is very big.

as far as tracking goes, i've never had issues with my word not being good on prop bets, but we could always arrange for someone else being at the table while i play.

but i seriously doubt anyone with a decent understanding of poker would take this bet.

I played in a Fallsview 5/10 limit Saturday afternoon game in November/December. Does anyone know if they are still running this on the weekends?

It's there from time to time. There's a couple of elderly guys who usually start it on the weekends. It depends if there is an extra table free that the NL games arem't taking up. It's funny to see the faces of those who join the table to find out it's limit. It;s 5/10

I kind of like playing with bad regs because they pretty much turn their hands face up! The usual small ball set mining and only raising AQs+.
The regs at Fallsview are pretty much face up. The ones at 2/5 anyways. However, they are very good at picking up tells and reads on their opponents.

I went to Heron on Sunday (didn't like it on Sunday the last time I played there; the action wasn't great and it dried up early in the evening, but I figured the long weekend would make a difference). The Omaha game never ran but after playing for a while at a fairly passive 10-20 table I took a move to 20-40 where a crazy lady was raising everything and challenging everybody. ("Come and get it, boys. I've flopped big.") I hadn't seen her before (but I haven't been out there much in the past year); some of the other players knew her. She really p*ssed one player off (he left after she cracked his aces with J4o by calling all the way into T4374) but I loved how she loosened the table up, so that pretty soon we were seeing 5-way caps preflop. She quit after about 6 hours, bitching about how badly she was running (said she was down 3k). I racked up soon after.

I'm from LA, CA but I'm going to be spending a lot of time in Whitby (a bit north of Toronto) this summer and would love to meet up with some poker players who talk about something other than bad beats Home games are also cool and if you are ever in LA I could plug you into some great home games here. You're going to be a relatively short drive from Great Blue Heron in Port Perry, with lots of action. If you post to the list before going out there some evening, you could probably get somebody to say hello to you while you're there. ... (I recommend Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but others may not agree.)
