There was an attempt a while back to set one up, specifically for limit online players, which may have been too specialized. We got together once, three of us, then didn't meet again. And, in fact, the guy who initiated it changed to NL not long after that. But a study group / social group for people who play live in the GTA might be more successful.

Dwight is the short, chubby older dealer with grey hair and a beard.

He chats too much and deals a slow, error filled game.

Gananaqui 1000 Islands casino has 1/2 "flex" limit which means that you can bet any amount up to $100 but can't bet higher. Really annoying in $200+ pots.

A month ago the room was filled with fishies but lately its just familiar faces, this flex limit just started in early February so maybe its just been a slow month.

Sounds good. How should we do this? Shall we exchange IM info over PMs?

with glasses and short. When he comes to table I have to go on dinner break or leave. He tilts me that much. Slowest dealer ever and very very easily distracted.

What is sad, is he used to be a fast, on point, friendly dealer.

He's still a pretty nice guy, but he's been dealing so long there he just doesn't care. So he acts jolly, deals slow, talks a lot, and gets through his shift.

Casino Niagara and fallsview is at its best during the summer cause the amount of traffic to Niagara falls, but Avoid mon, tues and wed afternoons as you will get most regs, but they are still bad, not all of them but most. just cause someone is there everyday doesn't mean they are good.

Thanks.

Just curious, you say they are bad regs, how so? The fact that they play on auto pilot and are extremely exploitable? Or the any two face cards deal?

I kind of like playing with bad regs because they pretty much turn their hands face up! The usual small ball set mining and only raising AQs+.

Played some at Rama today and met a dealer from Port Perry. I was surprised to learn that they are now running a bad beat jackpot. Apparently it has gone has high as 160k according to him.

Also, he said that Port Perry is starting a $1-$100 spread limit omaha (max buy-in 500, wtf?) game sometime in June. I just thought some of you might want know...

There is a lot of talk about Niagara. I was wondering if their are any fixed limit games running at either Niagara or fallsview. Last I recall Niagara was mostly 1/2 nl but fallsview had some limit action. Any regs care to tell me what the limit scene is like at Niagara?

Fallsview killed limit over a yr ago as far as I know.

I came back to Ontario from AB in late May of 2009, and played there. Was stunned/pleased there wasn't any limit games.

Perhaps they are back, but I doubt it.

Definitely not worth checking out! It doesn't exist.
Port perry is a limit environment. They recently added Spread limit; $100 max bet.

This spread limit game is not in place yet as far as I know. I heard dates like end of May or early June. This will be a hold'em game right? Someone mentioned spread limit omaha in an early post.

uhmmm prop bet?

i've never played limit omaha high but i'll happily bet that i can make > $30/hr over 100 hours or something like that if i can get enough action on it
