Is there a Players card type deal for benes? Is it true they take a jackpot drop but with a limited weekend payout?.....us fish need incentives

White hat with red M (Miami U).
At Fortune their "Benes" are half priced menu food. It's good food though. At Fortune their high hand bonuses are 250 per 15 minutes on Tue Thurs Sat and Sun so that's pretty good. Bonuses for playing before noon too, if you can get out of bed. Friday would be the only limited payout on a weekend.

Limit games to expect are 4 8, 8-16, and 20-40. 20-40 had long wait lists, others less so.

I went to Tulalip Casino on Friday night for the first time to play 1/3 nlhm, and there was one rule in particular that I didn't like at all that I am hoping Fortune poker room doesn't have. To my surprise, at Tulalip they have this very weird 3rd raise max rule that I have never seen or heard of in my life playing nlhm where betting is capped by the third raise, and there aren't any raises allowed after that point. It makes it feel more like limit hold'em than nlhm in that aspect and am really hoping Fortune doesn't have that rule as well being that those are the only two places to play 1/3 nlhm in the area for me. Having a $200 max buy-in was also a bit of a downer.

That's a state law, because these games aren't no limit, they're spread limit.

It only matters pre, but it does really suck. At fortune a straddle counts as the first raise, too.

As BigHurt already mentioned it's state law. Find a way to make the rule work in your favor. People will call bets they otherwise wouldn't when they know it's capped.

Same rule in Talking Stick last time I played there:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...faq-op-758800/

Fortune's rule is even worse, straddle counts as a raise pre-flop.

If you think Seattle makes it easy for aspiring poker "pros," you are mistaken.

Thanks for the information Bighurt, I had no idea. I do agree PokerLM, the smart thing to do is find a way to make the rule work in your favor, as silly as the rule might be. And poke4fun, you're right, I was mistaken about Seattle. I thought after Washington made online poker a felony, allegedly in part because of lobbying from poker rooms/ tribal casinos, that their live poker scene would be very poker player friendly and flexible in regards to proper game rules. I was definitely wrong there, and can't wait to move to Vegas at the end of the year.

Does it really say in the state law that there must be a maximum of 3 raises per street of betting? Seems very unlikely it would be that specific.

WAC 230-15-135

Wagering limits for nonhouse-banked card games.

Card room licensees must not exceed these wagering limits:

(1) Poker -

(a) There must be no more than five betting rounds in any one game; and
(b) There must be no more than four wagers in any betting round, for example, the initial wager plus three raises; and
(c) The maximum amount of a single wager must not exceed forty dollars; however, class F and house-banked card game licensees may offer a single wager not to exceed three hundred dollars;

If that is the law, how has Fortune Poker started offering No-Limit games? Just blatant violation?

$300 spread limit games have been approved for non-tribal since late last year.

3 tribals, but not sure how consistent Tulalip is now.

Tulalip is on Bravo and Muckleshoot is on Poker Atlas.

Snoqualmie isn't on either, but is spreading 2/5 regularly in weekday afternoons.

What is happening at the Tulalip? Many of the long-term solid regular poker dealers are gone.

Not just Tulalip, Muckleshoot also shot itself in the foot when it drastically reduced HH promotions.

Completely. Thursday nights used to be 8-12 tables. There were maybe 5 or 6 last night. Ghost town.

Fortune Poker was packed to capacity on Friday with a 20 deep waiting list for 4/8 and 1/3.

High hand promos work!
