As someone who lives in Seattle almost exactly 30-35 miles from Tul, Snoq, and the Muck, I can tell you the drive to Tul is By Far the worst of the three. That has to play a factor.

I'm looking for a Home Cash game somewhere in or around Seattle. I've tried meetup and craigslist, but are there other resources to help a guy out?

Any reason you prefer home to the casinos? Just due to lack of rake? Because there are plenty of good clubs within driving distance in Seattle

Rake + atmosphere, really. Though combine that with playing at lower stakes (even something like .5/1, makes for a looser, fun experience.

Played there on Weds and actually thought the chips were in pretty decent shape...better than I recall Tulalip's looking. Maybe I'm not that picky

Guess the Bad Beat Jackpot got hit at the Muckleshoot last week. Been playing some baccarat at Chips/Palace in Lakewood. I like the poker bonuses at Fortune. Did their Bad Beat Jackpot get hit yet? Also, does anyone play chess or Magic The Gathering?

I play Magic the Gathering. Was how I got into Holdem back in 2002.

Thinking of playing 2/5 this weekend - which casino is going to be the best? Seems like it's Muck based on bravo for last couple weekends as they have more games running but given that Sno isn't on bravo - was wondering which is going to be the "fishiest".

Plenty of fish at all. Played Tulalip Saturday. One guy called everything saying "eh I don't care." Donked off $1000.

I usually play up at the Hideaway but will be trying new rooms. Only lived in Seattle a few months but love it here. I played in an island themed room in Kirkland for limit only which was ok.

Ill read back on the thread but wondering any suggestions for Omaha or Horse other than Hideaway?

Thanks!

What stakes Omaha?

Fortune in Renton (new, gorgeous, see upthread) now has 4/8 full kill Wednesdays and 15/30 third kill on Monday and Friday. All limit o8.

If you mean PLO, Tulalip has a lot of it.

I've been playing the 15/30 on Fridays the last couple of weeks. It's a great game!

Id say 4/8 is my speed right now.

Sounds good, will need to check it out.

Id love to play that game but need to work on my skills. Long time NL and limit player but really enjoy playing Omaha and want to make the transition over. Hope to one day get to 15/30

If you're after 4/8 O8, Muckleshoot used to have games on Fri and Sat. Check Bravo to verify.

Also Hideaway has/had 3/6 O8 every day.

Finally, if you're closer to the south end of Seattle, Roxbury Lanes (aka Roxy's) in White Center used to have 3/6 O8 during the week.

All games are full kill.

Changed to 4/8 half kill several months ago. One of the best decisions they've made.

In 20/40 LHE, it's something like $45 in LA and $30-35 in LV. That's $1600-2400/month or around $20-30k/yr. That should outstrip cost of living.

I don't know anything about NLHE winrates but I guess they're more like LHE.

These win rates are off.

Yeah I've played 100's of hours of Vegas 20-40 LHE and I'd guess the win rates of "expert" players would be closer to $80/hr.

Cool, I'm up North, but would like to check out Roxbury for sure.

Looks like Fortune Poker Renton now wants all the Omaha O/8 players also

I was looking at their App this morning

Monday / Wednesday / Friday
4-8 Omaha full kill with a $250 high Hand every hour from Noon-Mid

Monday / Friday
15-30 Omaha 1/3 kill
No Jackpot Drop.......

That may change the 15-30 player may want to play for the high hand also?

Because the 3/6 was, though probably not literally unbeatable, very hard to beat for much more than a couple of dollars an hour. In a three way limped (non-kill) pot it would usually be correct to fold the nut low draw when you consider rake and a $1 tip. O8 where I have to fold my naked NLD doesn't sound very fun.

Exceeding unlikely. That 15/30 has moved around to various places. The key figure in organizing it is pretty adamant that the game should be 10-handed, $3 rake, no jackpot drop.

I've played over 2k hrs in that game myself and I think that's a pretty bad guess. I think AKQJ10's wr estimates are pretty good.
Anyone know of any midstakes lhe north of Renton?

So if there were 6 tables of 20-40 going at the Bellagio with 50 people playing you don't think the single best player among them could beat that game for 2 big bets an hour? I'd be willing to bet those 2%ers do.
