Seattle

Are there any regular LO8 games running in/around Seattle these days? I'll be in SEA for a few days at the end of September. I also enjoy low-stakes LHE, and other HORSE games. Where I live now there are no legit live cash games at all, so I don't want to miss the chance to play.

Any tips/advice? I haven't seen a SEA thread here for a while.

Re: Seattle poker

I'm curious to where the best low NL games are in the Seattle area. I'm looking to move out there at the beginning of 2010 and want to know where I can play.

Indian casinos (muck, tulalip, snoqualmie). Max bet is $500 though so it isn't 'true' NL.

o8 I almost never see. Lils used to have a 6/12 game that always ran after the saturday tournament but that doesn't exist anymore. I've heard they were trying to one running again. I'd give them a call on the day you want to play and see if it is running.

The Crazy Moose Casino (Mountlake Terrace, north of Seattle) runs a 3/6 Omaha/8 with a full kill pretty much all the time. Starts up early in the morning, usually goes till midnight or later, usually full with a list.

Muckleshoot seems to usually have an LO8 game going, at least as of a few months ago. The HORSE (or maybe really a mixed game) at Iron Horse is probably still being spread on Sundays and Tuesdays. I saw a mixed game at Silver Dollar Renton a few weeks ago.

there are lots of places to play so make a list and hit a bunch as it will be a great experience as well as profitable if you play well.

Re: Seattle poker

Hit me up if you're looking for someone to go gamble with. I've been living here over a year now, but still have yet to play any live pokers after I heard about the 500 max bet rule.

Parker's in Shoreline purportedly spreads a HORSE game (most likely for couch change) on Wednesday? afternoons and a O8 $6-12 w/$10-20 kill on Friday nights. Call and ask, they're so desperate for business they'll prattle on forever about what games they're trying to spread.

Diamond Lil's is good for up to $20-40. The jury is out as to what Indian casino is the tits. Give all three a shot, they're all between 30-45 minutes away from downtown.

+1. It would be fun to meet up with some 2+2ers and terrorize the unsuspecting locals...

Bring it on, unsuspecting "2+2er". Let's see who terrorizes who.

Re: Seattle poker

Hey, I'm not challenging anyone. I'm just a bad player who thinks it would be cool to meet some 2+2 members and play some poker in the nearby casinos.

I guess for now I'll settle for an offhand "sup bro" and see if anyone notices.

Just got back from a fam vacation. We flew into Seattle and drove up to Vancouver, Can. Didn't stop but saw several casinos along the fwy heading north. RZee's advice sounds like a lot of fun.
