There is no perfectly up to date list of exactly what is running where.

What specifically are you looking for?

I don't think there has ever been much discussion in poker outside of cardrooms and casinos in this thread.

Plus if you can't google it, it probably isn't popular enough to matter. I came across few poker clubs through googling Seattle Poker, but I think most of them are kind of dead by now.

Snoqualmie is down to four tables now. They've taken half the room and devoted it to a private craps game for a local celebrity/athlete.

Don't get me wrong.. the 20/40 game has obvious spots... but it also has 5-8 solid reg'
s that "as said" aren't giving chips away. There are a few very "fun" players so if you can get into that game then you would be hard pressed not to win... it's rarely a carnival.

Darkman lol, what a character. Dude needs a vlog.

For those of you wondering about the 20 game, it is the toughest that I have played anywhere in the country, steer clear.

Solid regs, part time pros, and tricky LAGs (emphasis on the Agressive).

Outside of me being a constant in it, the game is no good. Thanks

Telling people to steer clear of the 20 game doesn't seem like a good way to improve the situation. Not that I agree with you.

My comment was made with at least some degree of insincerity.

In general, 2+2'ers are not exactly who I want to see in my 20 game, I vastly prefer, in no general order; rich gamblers, 8/16 players taking a shot, out of towners, and any other variety of rando's that populate the game.

Funny quote I overheard the other day at Fortune:

"8/16 is the best game in the house by far. If I have more money, I'll play it every day."

Has the 8/16 traffic been much slower the last few weeks? Seems like there is frequently not 2 games going, or a 2nd game is short even during the high hand period.

I think poker all along the west side of the state slows down during our 75 days of sun.

Yeah but 1 out of 12 holdem tables is unusual. I saw 4 4/8, 3 20/40, and 4 1/3.

I will be heading out to T-town this weekend to visit some friends.

Is Fortune still a good spot for 1/2 or 1/3 NL? Probably get there around 1-2pm Sat and play for 3-5 hours.

Any reviews of Casino Carribean in Kirkland?

Caribbean Cardroom in Kingsgate (north Kirkland) is a 9-table non-tribal poker room with the same restrictions as Fortune, Hideaway, etc--age 18 to play, $300 max bet. It is frequented by locals with about 70 regulars averaging 40+ hours per month.

The room is not on Bravo but their website shows what tables are running with reasonable accuracy. Fixed Limit games start daily about 8:30am, with the Spread Limit game starting after the 11am tournament, with interest, and always by late afternoon. Games run past midnight during the week, and often until dawn Friday and Saturday.

I think Caribbean is a friendly room, both staff and players. The staff will make an effort to learn your name, and by your second or third visit they will recognize you. There are a lot of regulars in the games, typically at least half, so you may have an "outsider" vibe on your first visit, but if you are courteous and friendly, they'll warm to you in no time. It's a social room, no F-bombs allowed, trash talking discouraged. The players are there to have fun, not to pay (or lose) the rent.

In Kingsgate, corner of 124th NE & NE 144th, behind Safeway

Typo in the Caribbean info above: The Spread Limit game is 3-300, not 3-100.

I've never been to Caribbean, but kudos to them for holding the line on $3 + $2 drop.

I'm visiting visiting Seattle in a few days. First time in the area in 11 months, and it seems the poker scene has changed significantly....

Is Hideaway casino still open? I've never played there but will be staying in close proximity to the room.

Do any rooms still offer 1/2?

Have any rooms raised their rake?

Actually not much has changed, except that tribal has less exclusivity with NL crowd.

All the rooms that were around in the last 3 years are still around.

Tulalip is mostly Omaha on thursdays. They have a high hand jackpot on that day. So when I was there recently for NLHE I want to say it was 2 tables of 1/3 and 1 of 2/5 late afternoon leading up to their weekly tourney. At least 1 of the 1/3 tables played 7 players or less for significant periods of time

It would not surprise me if Tulalip further reduces its poker room.

Hi, I will be in Seattle this week and want to play some NL cash game. I usually play 2/5 or 5/10. Could someone point me the best casino for this type of games? Thanks a lot!

Muckleshoot has 3/5, Fortune has a nice 1/3, not sure what Tulalip spreads. Snoqualmie used to have a 5/10 on Mondays I think, not sure if that still runs. Hopefully someone here can chime in. Be aware none of these games are true NL due to state law, but are Spread Limit.
