I've yet to win a single high hand at Fortune, I think 33,500 would be beyond expectation!
I swear I had to read this 3 -4 times before I figured out your point. I take it there's no BBJ while they are running this high hand promotion.

Now, what I still don't get is why they guy is just checking behind with the nuts? And I guess I just figured that out, the hand has to go to showdown to qualify for the high hand?

And yes there is always concern for that 1%, and that's why you don't mark yourself like what the guy did. But maybe he doesn't care that there is risk of getting robbed.
Regulars in the 3/5 and 5/5+ at tulalip certainly carry lots on them. Always valet for that reason of safety.

The hand does not have to go to showdown. I imagine the person with quad jacks was just being polite.

New menu at Fortune. All the price hikes were reversed and mostly lowered. My frugal butt approves.

Now there's no question, Fortune has the best poker room food deals.

*50% discount. Prime rib $9, Fortune burger $5, chicken marsala dinner $6!!!!

Then you probably need a tax planner, not accountant.

Most people use standard deduction.

I see a big mix game running in Muckleshoot almost every day. Does anyone know what the games in rotation are? Also are all the players in that game regs?

The games are (or were) limit hold'em, Omaha8, stud8, Big O, and razz or stud. I imagine it is still the same lineup of people. This game was discussed in this thread not too long ago.

FORTUNE MINI FOOD REVIEW ROUNDUP - NEW LOWER PRICES!!!

Ratings are on a 5-Star scale, prices after discount w/tax

VIETNAMESE BEEF STEW
****.5 / $6.60
- Really flavorful sweet and savory broth. Would be 5 stars if the beef had less chewy tendons and the baguette wasn't stale the 2nd time I had the dish.

CHICKEN FETTUCCINI ALFREDO
***** / $6.60
- Freaking very well done. Miles ahead of Olive Garden. Best C-F in Renton

THAI SEAFOOD SOUP
** / $6.60
- Soup is supposed to be a hot and sour type, but was more on the bland spectrum. Seafood ends up being chewy. The codfish is the best part, and the noodles.... no sir, I don't like them.

FORTUNE BURGER
***** / $5.50
- The fortune burger is exactly the same, just $2 cheaper. I tried ordering one medium and they didn't cook the heck out of it! Best $6 burger IN THE WORLD IMO

CHICKEN CHOW MEIN
**** / $6.60
- If you add a decent amount of sriracha and soy sauce, this is a pretty good example of chow mein. I would like it if the noodle was thicker, or if you could somehow substitute yakisoba noodles.

BEEF CHOW FUN
***** / $6.60
- The chow fun is also exactly the same, except it's now served in a bowl and may be a slightly smaller portion. Best $7 chow fun in the USA

I look forward to the $9 prime rib on Saturday. STEVE OUT

Steve, I always get a laugh out of your food reviews. May I ask though, is there any "4/20" adjustment factor going on? (No judgement here, just askin'.)

Food review...

Secret menu item: *****Double bacon BLT. This must be ordered by ordering the club sandwich and asking for extra bacon instead of turkey and ham. The waitress will do a double take, but stick to your guns! This comes on either wheat bread, white, or sourdough! It also comes with fries!

Went up to Caribbean in Kirkland, 9:30 pm on a sat night. 10 ppl on both 4/8 and 1/3-300 list with two empty tables and they wouldn't start a new game.

Room manager said it would cause too many holes in the open games.. without going around to verify if those in games still wanted other games.

I get that starting a game to break a game isn't good for a room in general, but at least go through the lists and do the math.

Obviously not going back.

Unfortunately more common than not around Seattle.
