8/16 at 7mile was v fun, anytime someone scoops it gets killed up to 16/32. i was playing shorthanded so almost every hand was 16/32, lol.

would love to see something higher going one day, i miss big mix. the 5/10 PLO player pool is basically 90% of the palomar/village player pool from five years ago when I left. some things just dont change.

RE: 7 mile casino

What time of day/night does the $2/$3 NL run? Does it go consistently Monday-Friday? Difference in game start/end times between weekday and weekend?

Thanks!

fairly confident 2/3 always has multiple tables going unless you're talking graveyard shift. you can always call and check. not sure when start times would be.

Does anyone have any information on the poker scene at Barona these days?

Friday nights and last wednesday of the month are the casino drawings. Friays for the car and the last wednesday for a split of 100k, largest of the night being$50k at 10:30pm.

on the last wednesday of the month, they also do a casino-wide "hot seat" drawing every 2 minutes for $100, which includes poker. Action is usually pretty good in the higher games...don't recommend 1/2 though, that's where all the nits sit to wait to hear their name called (LOL)

Does the 2/3/5 still run on Friday and Saturday nights at Pala?

fridays for sure (unless something weird happens). saturdays have kind of died off. Summer is coming, which means who knows what will happen...we always get slower. Best advice is to call ahead and ask.

Seems pala Friday was solid (when I was playing a while ago). The Friday casino car drawing make most regulars show up

There's a 5/10 with a straddle game that runs ~often. Game has a few whale chaldeans (that may or may not be colluding, depending on who you ask) and a couple pros (who may or may not also be colluding, depending on who you ask). Very actiony in any case.

Thank you for the information.
I had hoped it was the Palomar PLO game.

What's the situation on 5/10NL+, PLO, and mixed games in San Diego these days? A little confused now that Palomar has closed.

Both games seem to be pretty active in the day at 7 Mile, but they're separate tables; not mixed. The 5-10NL usually drops to 5-5NL later in the evening.

the only mix game I've heard of was a 40/80 limit game that was running sporadically at O11 for a while.

I think Lucky Lady might be getting shut down. They've been passing around a petition for players to sign recently trying to get enough names to fight it.

Anyone have any more info?

Has anyone here played in that Pala Deepstack $125 jobber they ran each Saturday in June, and will again in July?

Wondering how many runners they are averaging and if they are using their "Pala Signature Deepstack Structure".

Thanks for any info..

Okay this weekend I am going to give out money and play some poker.....

Barona: game is too tight, all regular, but the 5/10 game is action packed (comapre to some of those 1/3)
Sycuan: Changed blind structure and buyin now is 2/3 blind 100-300?

I think I am going to give out money on tables in 7mile
8/16 or 2/3....

Whats the PLO game? 5/10 2500max?

They were denied their license renewal yesterday. I guess they are going to appeal but def looks like Lucky Lady might be getting shut down around the end of the year.

Oh thats not good

So 7 mile will have local monopoly pretty soon
Ocean11, sycuan, barona are all 1 hour drive distance

North county probably 1.5-2 hour drive

was lucky lady even getting games going? seems like they did a pretty lousy job of attracting the people who used to play at the Palomar.
