it was consistently running on friday nights in June. It also ran Wednesdays pretty often but that was during the drawings. Now it seems like Fridays is definitely your best bet.

It's WSOP satellite league time!

I'm helping organize a WSOP satellite league for next year. The first game is Friday August 17th. There will be 12 tournaments, one every 3 weeks. We are anticipating having 25-30 players and we cap it at 30 so if you want in, don't waste any time.

Here's the details:

- $350 buy-in
- All games dealt by professional WSOP tournament dealers - literally the same ones you see in Vegas.
- 12 tournaments, 6 are type "A" and 6 are type "B". *
- Type "A" tournaments: Start with 4500 in chips. First level 25/25. Blinds are 30 minutes long. We follow the $1500 WSOP blind structure.
- Type "B" tournaments: You will start with one of three stack sizes. 8k, 16k, or 24k. You will get to play each starting stack twice during the year. In these events we will start with level 7 (150/300/25). Blinds are 30 minutes long and follow the $1500 buy-in WSOP structure.
- Based on the number of players, we will send roughly 4 players to a $1500 buy-in bracelet event at the 2013 WSOP.
- If you cash in the event, you keep 68% of the winnings. 28% goes back to the league and 4% goes to the dealers who deal our events. This is how we kept our dealer cost down this year.

* Why did we decide to do this? Based on player feedback, we felt that this would better prepare players who don't have a lot of experience in large tournament fields. Because our 25 player tournaments were typically over by level 7, players weren't adequately prepared to play with a 30-50 big blind stack with antes in play. There is a big difference between playing 25-50 or 50-100 with no antes and 150/300 or 200-400 with antes and the people we sent this year didn't feel well-prepared for the later levels. Hopefully this will give players the experience they need to run deep and bring home the cash.

PM/or reply to find out how to join.

Sorry I didn't catch you in Reno. That was my fault. I didn't play very much. But yeah, I had to warn norcaljew about this yesterday during his epic PLO session.

Went to rancho club last night to play blackjack with a friend. Seemed very live at the single poker table. Also seemed very shady and dirty.

Anyone play there?

for sure Mike, that was cool man. @Abarber, all good, I am sure we would meet up somewhere in Sac sometime down the line.

I got very visibly tilted playing 2/5 the other day at TV because some ****ing nit kept bringing up 2p2 at the table and deliberately saying my online name. The ****ing whale asked "whats 2p2" and we all tried to bull**** it away. He got up and left before he could dump his 2600$ back to the table.

**** you whoever you are you nit.
