Makes sense. I have never played higher than $5/$10 at Brantford.

Oh well I lost 400~ and change, lost a bunch of 40$ pots since all the flops were going 5-6 way no one ever folded then, and losta 750~(250$ me) pot set < set & 3rd random fihs with flush draw.

The games were omg juicy, but I should just stick to massively multitabling 10 and 25nl online since I do better their, and dont get so bored, lol.

The BBJ went off last night at Casino Niagara. I haven't been there in a week or so and I was surprised when I checked in and saw that it was at $66K.

The worst part about it all was that I was suppose to be seated at that table. But someone else requested a table change to that table so I had to take his seat at his old table.

What games are running at Casino Niagara?

can anyone confirm that you don't actually need to play for free parking at Niagara, just a card?

I will be in Niagara in a couple of weeks.

What games are the other two casinos spreading? Any one casino a better choice than the others for quality of the room (drinks, food at the table, perks for non-regs)?

For convenience, I am thinking the USA side (I am across the hotel across the street), but if I am going across to CA to do the tourist thing, then would one of the other two be a better choice?

Also, what should I say at the border if I am going over to play cards?

It's Canada. The perks at both casinos suck.

There's no tableside food service at Fallsview. I can't comment on Casino Niagara but I can't see it being much different. Come prepared to pay for alcoholic drinks at both locations.

If you want to play 1/2 NL, go to Casino Niagara. If you want to play 2/5 NL or higher, go to Fallsview. It's that simple.

Tell the truth -- you are crossing the boarder to go see the falls and visit the casinos.

In case anyone cares, new session fees at Fallsview, now $7 per 1/2hr instead of $6 for 2/5, and $8 for 5/10+ per 1/2hr instead of $7.

I asked a dealer if the quality of the room would be going up as well and didn't get much of a response

Can't wait for the Toronto Casino to open shop and for Fallsview to become a ghost town casino. You can only piss off players for so long.

Play your poker at Seneca on the US side....both casino's in Canada suck the only thing that is better is the action.

Can you give a little more detail as to why they are no good? Better action may be more of a positive than your perceived negatives.

Pro, can you weigh in on why either of the Canadian casinos would be a better place to play than Seneca?

At both FV and Niagara they have so many rules....no straddle, no electronic devices anywhere in room (stepping away from table isn't good enough you have to leave poker room to check your phone), 80%+ of the dealers are bad....slow, they make mistakes, they might only deal poker a few days a month. You get no comps other then free parking....playing just poker you will never get a free meal. The waits can be very long....sometime 3-4 hours on a weekend, they don't schedule extra dealers for something like say Easter Monday yesterday where more people are off work and its fair to assume it will be busier then most Mondays. And if 1 dealer calls in sick it messes up everything. Doesn't matter if they have a list of 50 people if the next dealer isn't in until say 4pm they won't open more tables.

As I said the action is better, the games are bigger and overall I think the player pool is worse. At 2/5 and bigger games you play session which I perfer to rake it just went up $1 per half hour so now 2/5 is $7, 5/10 is $8, etc.

Seneca usally only runs 1 or 2 2/5 tables and you can smoke in the hall outside the poker room (in Canada no smoking in casinos) it sometimes can be a bit smokey.

At Seneca you can listen to music, straddle, you get good comps, the dealers are much better, they will spread just about any game you want if you get 8 players, they will run limit, omaha, mixed, etc. If they have a list of they open a table (what a concept!).

Also worth stating that I have played 1000's of hours at FV and outside of a few good supervisors (Matt is the best) they don't make you feel welcome at all. I don't like to continue to return to a service in which they don't value me as a customer. I have played much less at Seneca and everytime I go they treat me like a valued customer.

I was going to post why I prefer Seneca to Fallsview but Rocket pretty much nailed everything I was going to say. I don't understand why more Fallsview regs simply come over to Seneca to play, don't think it is that inconvenient to come across the border (although I do understand the tax withholding on tournaments is discouraging to Canadian players)

I live in Niagara Falls ON and am playing about 50% of my poker at Seneca right now....even though I live less then 10 mins from FV.

Im sorry guys but Better ACTION TRUMPS everything else, as a poker player that is what matters.

Hey seneca is full of nits and action is horrible, but who cares!! I feel so welcome there and more comfortable! lol

Not when the last time you played on Seneca but it is not full of Nit's and the action somedays is just as good or better then FV. Recently the game has been very good.

My point is that FV runs a terrible game and because it is closer to Toronto then any other poker room regs default to it. A service that is far better is 10 mins away and I choose to go there. If other players started going to Seneca the action would go with it and FV might actually consider making it a more player friendly game.

Let see here I been to Seneca the past 5 years over the summer playing and Fallsview blows out Senica with the action. Now I only live up there during Summer so ovb the Action will be a lot better than the US side. You cant beat the number of Asians coming down from TO to play.
