Lots of tourists but there are regulars as well.

Overall, fun environment and had a great time. Players are relaxed and everyone has a good time.
Is that playing 1-2NL or higher?

2/5 NL at fallsview. Casino niagara is not a great environment. People are playing 1/2Nl but take the game way too seriously lol. The crowd at fallsview is much better. Everyone is friendly and having a great time.

yea like 75% of the players at fallsview are fish and tourists, the only problem is that they all buy in for close to the minimum in both 2/5 and 5/10

Does Niagara still have the weekend 2/5 game? They used to have a few insane mega fish from the US who used to play a few years back.

Where the hell do you regs live?? I can't find a nice furnished condo/apt for rent in the area. If you know any nice/luxury apartments condos, furnished or unfurnished, please pass me the info. Thanks...oh and I plan on playing $5-10 NL tonight and Saturday. GL GL!

Potentially visiting Fallsview and/or Casino Niagara this upcoming weekend, read through the thread and still have a few questions:

1. Only saw a few posts about PLO- is it only at Fallsview and not Casino Niagara? Stakes? How often is it spread (every Saturday, or only the very occasional Saturday it has enough interest to get off the ground)? How soft is the game?
2. I heard there's only 12 tables at Casino Niagara? How many at Fallsview?

Seneca Niagara: It is nice to see games other than hold'em spread.

Going to Niagara Falls this weekend, going to stay Canadian side. If I want to go to Seneca where do I catch a shuttle bus?

Yeahhh already went there two weekends ago, and they actually didn't run PLO that Sat. or Sun. night (was hoping it might run Sun. cuz of Labor Day weekend)... had 15+ names on the list but when they called the table, only like 5 ppl showed, so they ditched it for running another 2/5 NLHE game for the 100+ names on that list.

And they run PLO as a 5/5 500max game, from what I heard.

Didn't see this thread and asked my qs in the Toronto thread, so I'll ask again. How many 2/5 and 5/10 NLHE games are running on a normal day at Fallsview? I'm guessing 5/10 only runs on the weekends. What are the waits to get a seat like?

Also reading in this thread that 80% of the people buy in for the minimum is depressing, can any regs confirm/deny this?

Whats the spread right now at Fallsview for NL holdem? they still run the 5/5 2/4 and 5/10? and what are the max and min buys?

Bank or Casino are the absolute worst spots to convert your money.. save your money and change it at an exchange house. there is are a few in the vicinity on the Canadian side including one right on the falls.

DO NOT exchange at banks or casino's in canada EVER.

fallsview is mostly 2/5 and a little 5/10 and not much else runs

timed rake is $6/30min at 2/5 and they also take from each pot for the bbj on top of that

decent room, pretty good action

they screw you on the currency conversion at the casino

if you give them 1000 us dollars, they will only give you 950 in chips even tho the exchange rate is better than that right now. if you then immediately give them the 950 in chips back at the window without moving, you only get at par so 950 us dollars back. really annoys me - it's a casino ffs, they are making money hand over fist, and they have to screw you on a simple currency exchange?

Yea the cage is a rip for exchanges. It's Better u ask the players bc most of he regs like me will take 1-1 usd to Canadian and give u chips. Like I've done it several
tomes where I gave chips from my pocket for usd. I'll be there as usual on Saturday at around 1 ish. Tall brown guy in sweats and an adidas lanyard around me neck

havent been to either in forever.

can anyone give a comment on the omaha action at fallsview? still just occasional fri/sat nights and 5/5?

Ur best bet is to come late night for Omaha bc the regs usually create an interest list. Usually only 1 table is running for that game but its very profitable. Everyone is pretty much chasing flushes on paired boards. If ure on the waitlist after a table has begun you'll stay there till morning bc table doesn't break.
