Decided not to go to turningstone. However I may end up at casino niagara tonight. How's action been recently? The same?

Did you or anybody complain about these unprofessional Seneca dealers? I stopped going to Seneca years ago, but I'm surprised the donks still tip too much. It was hard enough for them to win with so many 50 BB shortstackers, small pots due to the BBJ limping, minimum rake on every flop, $1 BBJ rake, tipping $2-$5, then the donks wonder why they are down by the end of every session. I remember I was busy pulling in my pot and a guy prematurely asked if the female dealer had gotten my tip yet as if he was her boyfriend.

No I didn't but if I was the player getting cryptically razed I would have complained to the floor. I think in one of the threads there was a question on how to spot a donk, well watch him tip away reds on big pots like he just won Powerball is one sign....

I went to Fallsview for the first time in years, and was saddened to see that it still has the horrible business practices of never opening up one of the 17 tables early no matter how huge the waiting list, and closing down tables at inflexible times even if the table is full, enraging the customers that want to keep paying and foregoing over $160/hour in session fees, BBJ rake and tips. There was a player in my table who went on tilt because of the lack of drink service and eventually had to go line up for drinks himself and miss a lot of the session he is forced to pay for.

My preferred place to play now is the OLG electronic locations where I can play a Deep Stack or other tournament for as low as 4% rake, then play the cash games after I bust out. It's no wonder that many of the Fallsview regs now play at the OLG Slots.

Went to casino niagara tonight. Action was good. Pretty standard. Dealers have seemed to of gotten worse and worse and worse. Couldn't believe how slow some were.....

See the OLGpoker.com website. I prefer to play an electronic tournament first then cash games after, such as Georgian Downs, Mohawk or Western Fair racetracks. For example, Georgian Downs' promotions have included a $5,000 Tournament of Champions and Poker Player VIP appreciation night for its top 40 players!

Thinking about taking a drive out to Seneca Niagara tonight even after my bad experience last time.

It's been a while since I played there and I'm undecided as to whether I want to go and splash around on the 1-2 tables or play 2-5. How's the action been?

feels like the 200 max table is usually a bunch of rocks. 100 max is insanity I don't know what to make of it most of the time. I hear there is a lot of action at the 2-5 game, lot of regs, I see the a few of the same faces at the 2-5 game every single time

200 max is tighter but I have seen some pretty big stacks many times so while it may be "tighter" it might be just relative to the fish that splash around at 1/2 100 max. I have no idea how tight the 2/5 game as it's in a corner and not easy to see from the rest of the room.

If you like 2/5, then the 10+ tables of 2/5 at Fallsview Casino are better. If you don't want to cross the border to Canada, the best players at Seneca are at the 2/5 table so you will probably have a higher ROI at 1/2 (but not as high as Fallsview 2/5).

Heading up there on the 12th for a few nights. Looking to play some 5/10 or 10/25. Does much run at Fallsview? Any tips?

The higher buy-in action died.

5/10 only runs Friday and Saturday, and occasionally Thursday.

10/25 only runs Friday and Saturday if there is enough interest.

I'll be at Seneca at least twice aweek if not 3 times in a couple of months. I frequent a Bunch of home games in the buffalo area as well as tournaments.

2/5 is 100bb max and the majority of players buy in for less than 100bb..

I believe the 5/10 is now 200bb max --- I know it's more than 100bb, but can't confirm how much.

Room was pretty dead for a Friday night (Seneca Niagara) - broke the $200 table at like 2:30AM.

BBJ is @ about $52k, so I figured it would had been a little busier. Thinking of hitting up Fallsview tonight, any thoughts on how it should be on a Sat night.

There will be demand for at least ten 2/5-5/10 tables, but it can be long waiting lists because Fallsview refuses to open or close tables based on customer demand, but on inflexible employee scheduling. I will try to go there this afternoon, in my continuing evaluation if Woodbine is a better place to play in the long run. Compared to the three Niagara Falls casinos, Woodbine has twice as many hands/hour, no tipping every pot, 50¢/hour cashable reward, no dealer errors, $5 max rake, and no BBJ rake.

Thanks. I would be looking to play 2/5 (since the Seneca typically only runs 1 table)...if you end up heading there this afternoon send me a note of how busy it looks.

Appreciate the info
