What is the new rake at Casino Niagara for the 1/2 game? Is it $6 plus $1 for the BB? Or 6 all inclusive?

The rake is 7 every half hr at the fallview casino, but not Casino Niagara. At Casino Niagara they use a rake structure similar to the poker room on the American side, not sure what it is exactly

I'm going to be in Brockport, NY for my nephew's college hockey games and I was wondering where the best place to play in the Buffalo/Rochester area. I'm looking for NLH $2/$5.

If you are a US citizen... do you need a passport to go to one of the casinos on the Canadian side?

Yes. A valid passport, NEXUS or Enhanced Driver's License is required to enter Canada via land.

Any Omaha hi/lo action in town?

They may run it occasionally at Fallsview. Other than that they have tournaments at Salamanca poker room or they have 5-10 on weekends at Turning Stone.

Never Hi/Lo.

PLO 5/5 or 5/10 runs from time to time at fallsview. Seneca runs a 5/10/10 game every Tuesday but you need to get there early or the wait list is long.

Take the money to a money exchange shop. Try to avoid name brand ones like Money Mart as they give the worst rates. Avoid the casinos as they give worse rates than Money Mart.

The Seneca casino is about a 10 minute walk from the border entrance. When you cross into Canada the older casino with the lower poker stakes is about 5 minutes on foot from the border entrance. Fallsview is about 20 minutes on foot from the border and 5 minutes by car or cab. You can rent cheaper motel rooms for 40 to 60 a night during the week on the Canadian side. Hotels cost 70+. I don't know what the costs on the US side are. I don't know where a supermarket is(if you want eat healthier and cheaper) on the Canadian side, they have reasonable dinner and lunch buffets on the Canadian side and US side and you can eat on the table on the US side but not directly on the table. Also if you want to save money you can over eat on a breakfast buffet and grab some fruit for lunch or do the same for lunch and grab some fruit for dinner. Anyway best of luck..

Seneca on the U.S side runs 1/2 (2 games 100 max buy in and 200 max buy in) and 2/5 but rarely more then 2 tables of 2/5.

The Canadian side has 2 casinos Niagara runs just 1/2 and Fallsview runs 2/5 and up (5/10 and 10/20).

Cost of living is low compared to Toronto but not sure what its like compared to where your coming from.

They are not right next to each other....if you are walking it would take 45 mins or so to walk from Seneca to Fallview.

Hey. Will there be decent action 5/ T+ in January 7 nights a week ?
Or even 2/5 to pad things out on a few nights ?

thanks

Yes. The smallest game run at Fallsview in fact is $2/$5 NL. You should have no trouble finding either game seven days a week.
