So I Thought These three casinos needed their own thread as I play there in the summer time and enjoy these casinos. Here is some info that might help you out.

Canadian sideCasino Niagara Poker room is the lower limit casino. Play on one of the 12 tables, the Poker Room is open 24 hours on Saturday & Sunday and 12pm to 6am Monday - Friday. Contact our Poker Room directly at 905-353-7000 to reserve your seat. They will hold your seat up to 90 minutes. The main game here is 1-2 NL with a min max buy inn of 40 to 200, This might have changed.
Free parking at the garage as long as you get a player card, its a must during summer months. Games are great on the weekend with a lot of regs during the mid week.

FallsView Casino The nice casino and right up the street, with much higher limits. Play the perfectly suited hand in the comfort of Fallsview's luxurious Poker Room – the largest and most popular in Ontario. With high and low limits and crowd-pleasing games like Texas Hold'em. No-limit Texas Hold'em and Omaha, the action never stops! For your convenience and enjoyment, our Poker Room employs state-of-the-art shuffling technology and a fully electronic patron seating system. (905)371-7777. I believe the popular game here is 5/5 NL or 2-5NL with max buy in of 500, The buy ins could have changed. CALL AHEAD ON THE WEEKENDS! I do like the fact that they have Omaha going now, They do have limit as well but I am unsure of the limits they spread.

Both casino combine a BBJ. Get beat holding a Full House of Aces over Tens or better and you could win the Bad Beat Jackpot!

Seneca Casino on the American side
Visit our world-class Poker Room and try your hand at Texas Hold’em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud. Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel is the only Niagara Falls casino offering live Poker. And with 16 tables and all levels of play, it’s easy to get in the game.

The Poker Room is located on the first floor next to the Bus Lobby. To reserve your spot on the live game list, please call 716-278-6300 and you will be given one hour to claim your seat. They also have a BBJ. I wish I could add more info on this casino, but TBH I have not played there in a while and do not know the limits, but the Phone # should help out with any questions.

I am more of a fan of the Canadian side as during the summer I live in Canada and hate going back and fourth over the border to play in the States, plus the Seneca Casino is located in the ghetto and I am just not very impressed there. If your looking for the biggest games and action, Fallsview would be the best! You can also get free parking in their garage if you have a players card.

I hope this helps out and Can't wait for some trip reports from the Trio of casinos, Good luck everyone!

Two of my buddies and I are going to play the Thursday night tourney at Seneca. I have heard and read on here its an all in fest. Since all i can play online now is play money tourneys,i think i know how to play this one. Tight at the start. Wait for PP's, get in pots cheap with connectors. And hope to flop monsters. I figure if I flop one set, one straight, one flush and not run into any trouble and i can cash. Anybody else going up? Wish us luck.

When do the games usually start back up at casino niagara on the days they close at 6 am?

Also fallsview/seneca are always 24/7 right?

My friends and I are going up to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering what the general competition is in the 1/2 game at Casino Niagara and the 2/5 game at Fallsview.

Are they softer or harder than previous 1/2 or 2/5 games than you've played in before? Are Fallsview games any softer than normal considering they begin levels at 2/5?

What type of PLO runs if any?

How many mid-high level games, 5/10+, run at Fallsview and how often do they get them running?

went to school in buffalo and have played all 3 of these rooms. Seneca niagara(american side) is where i spent most of my time once i turned 21 since i was already on the american side and liked gambling in american money. No conversion rate etc. They have daily tourneys and a first of the month tourney which is a good structure. There 1/2 games have a cap of 100 or 200 depending on the table. They also have a 2/5 game sometimes a 5/10 and of course all tables allow straddling. IMO the room is run really well and you can easily make some good money. FWIW i think the 1/2 200 max is the toughest game in the room

Reasoning for that? I've only played at seneca 2 or 3 times and mostly played the 200 1/2. Thought it was a bit tougher than casino niagara over my few sessions there but there was still a decent amount of dead money.

I absolutely hate the fact that they have a 1/2 100 max game. Majority of recreational players are going to play there and playing 50bbs is just awful. I only played it for like an hour but from what I saw people would nurse their stacks until they absolutely had to rebuy, and people still open to 10-20$ w 100 back, makes it tough to do anything but nut peddle.

100 max is just an absolute waste of tables and it's sad that the majority of 1/2 tables at seneca (atleast in the times i've been there) have been 100 max.

How easy is it to exchange USD to CAD and vice versa in regards to fees/exchange rates. I have read conflicting stories online and hoping someone who has played in Niagara Falls regioin recently can clarify. I never exchanged CCY before...would appreciate opinions on best places to do so (in or out of Casino). Thanks.

your choice, Bank or Casino is best. It's about 100 American will get you 91$ CA, the US dollar sucks but when you win, you get an extra 9$ when cashing out on each hundo = )

Is this all at Casino Niagara $1/$2? or a mixture of Niagara + Fallsview?

I've been trying to build up a roll of some sort playing $1/$2 before I try $2-$5 at Fallsview. The games are pretty good at Niagara. But playing just one table tilts me!

Have you played at Fallsview before?

2 sessions at each, the play is pretty bad at both.

Do people buy in for the max of $500 at Fallsview? Since this is their lowest limit I expect a lot of people to buy in for $100-$300 range

They buy in from all ranges TBH

the 1/2 200 max is the toughest because at 2/5 its people with a bunch of money throwing in 100 or 200$ preflop with kjo to a 3 bet etc. the 200 max its more serious play much more 3 betting and the stacks are deeper in relation to the blinds so there is much more room to manuever and exploit the weaker players which the better players do and therefore choose this game
