I don't think 75K is the largest BBJ ever in Canada either.

Seneca is going to be the closest from Brockport. It's about an hour 15 minute drive. Not too bad. I know there's no big casinos in Rochester, which is virtually where you are, except for racinos that don't offer poker rooms in New York... Yet.

I'm sure there's small games floating around there somewhere, but other than that, Seneca Niagara is closes. turning stone is about a 2-2.5 hour drive from Brockport.

How has those weekly tournaments been doing for FV? Been interested in playing one, but when I went to Niagara a few weeks ago, dealer said they've been getting a ****ty turnout

Buy In too High and probably a crappy structure.

Couldn't agree more with the high buy ins. Haven't seen structure.

They should host dailies with buy ins from 60 on off days, 70-90 on thurs and Friday and have 120-150 on Saturdays. They'll take in some money, more people will play and most people are happy.

Lol, not even worth it. Friday is the 300 or 400 one? Winner gets what? 2.5ish if you get 20? Not worth it.

I believe I'm heading up to Niagara tomorrow afternoon/early evening.

Haven't been up during the day time, usually just between 9-11pm. How's the action between 4-9 usually?

Also, anyone else heading up tomorrow?

Yeah. I was thinking of this earlier. They should run satties, single table early in the week when it is not so busy.
Sunday could be a 500.00 with x amount of seats and play say to 60 or 70% . 100 seats 60 or 70 satties all single tables. They would have to run the satties 24 hrs a day.
The only problem is no one at Fallsview can think too much.

They could take a lot away from Brantford and such if they ran a nightly tournament . Brantford has 5 a week Sun to Thursday . BI on most is reasonable but the structure isn't the greatest.

I wanted my 500th post to be a decent one. LOL

Typically by 4pm there will be 4-5 2/5 tables and 1 5/10 table and by 9pm maybe 6-7 2/5 games.

My wife and I headed up to Seneca Niagara last night to check out the poker room and play the $70 nightly tournament. First time in the poker room. 58 played the tournament and on the cash side there were at least 10 tables going by 10pm, mostly 1-2 and 2-5 NL as far as I could tell.

I would say the standard of play was better than your average low buyin tournament in Vegas but otherwise pretty much what you would expect. One strange ruling where a guy was discovered to be at the wrong table, but it wasn't discovered until level 3 or 4. They moved him to his correct spot and moved in a late reg to take his place. The guy that got moved had chipped up a bit so he essentially removed chips from our table. Seemed like the wrong call.

I busted pretty early but my wife made it to the final table (a first) and made the money (also a first). She was pretty pumped so nice job!

I played at Senenca a few months back. Probably the juiciest 2-5 game I have ever played in.

There both really easy games to beat, but the 2/5 would say there a little better players

2-5 was really good today. Sat in two different tables and there was maybe 3/10 players that I would consider good/decent. Perhaps the jackpot hunters are out in full force.

Bad beat jackpot at Fallsview is 56k as of 8;00pm Friday. Aces full over queens beat to qualify. I'll be back Sunday if it still hasn't been hit. Please let a 2p2er take it down for once.

Off with. Limp to me 5 ppl in pot I have 9,10 off

Flop 678, rainbow. Bb bets 25, one caller, I flat, turn is J. Bb bets 60, one caller I pump it to $250, bb shoves caller fold I snap. River is meaningless he had 45 lol. Easy money with deep stacks. Regs are having a picnic lol
