MBT Worldwide runs out of Boston. I'm stuck in the middle of MA so as of yet no bus company's have picked up PP old routes. Short & long term I have to believe that this will benefit the NH rooms

I’m very pleased to announce the addition of Jeff “Big Red” Reddington to our management team at Cheers Poker Room & Casino. Jeff brings easy going character, professionalism, and strong experience to the Cheers Poker Room. I’ve known Big Red a long time and I am super excited Jeff is joining our Cheers team.

Puckster - you'll be happy to know that when the chatter at Mohegan shifted, as it often does, to places where action is or might be, a player who lives in northern mass and plays either at Hampton or FW chimed in with Cheers and how he was looking forward to it. And a couple of other people at the table had heard of the room as well, and I didn't peg either of them as 2+2 readers.

You know things are looking good when your room has managed to seep into the consciousness of Monday AM Mohegan Sun poker players despite still being a month or two away from the grand opening!

There are the Wah Sang buses that leave Lawrence, Lowell, and Worcester and go to Mohegan. $12 roundtrip if I remember correctly. Think they have a Boston route as well. Dont know bout Foxwoods tho.

Lol it's not the Wah Sang bus. One of the Lowell routes starts at the Wah Sang restaurant.

me like it............ legit talk... we have been interviewing tons of dealers, floors, and employees the past few weeks..... I'm keeping it simple. Making it awesome from a players perspective and making it awesome from a dealers and employee perspective. Its always been my number one priority. Proper business model? probably not. going to try and make it the place everyone wants to go (like Cheers) and figure the business end will take care of itself....

Sounds like Demoulas business plan. Never worked there but it seems to have worked for them.

another great comparison.... if Cheers has close to the success, happy customers and happy employees the Demoulas Market Basket has..... I think that would be pretty good.....

FWIW, there are a bunch of us trying to get PLO going every Saturday afternoon at Boston Billiards in Nashua. We're willing to start shorthanded to get the game going - last 2 weekends we started with 4 players and had a full table and a waitlist within a couple hours.

Can wait for the Wynn solely for a regular PLO game being available. Just tough to drive 45 minutes to play a game that might not run and then if it does run might break.

At Boston Billiards Club & Casino Last Tuesday when it opened @ Noon. Sat in the 1/2 NL game, which was the only game going. Some of the players expressed an interest in playing 2/4 NL. When floor asked me if I wanted to play 2/4, I declined. Two minutes or so later, he opens a 2/4 game by breaking the 1/2 game! I remained in my seat playing with myself! I asked the floor if they usually break the 1/2 game to start a 2/4 game. Floor responded that he had 2 dealers. End result? One 2/4 game, zero 1/2 games and still had 2 dealers. I then figured if I couldn't beat them I might as well join them. Only one problem: 2/4 game was full leaving me playing with myself some more.
The only rationale I can think of is that 2/4 is more lucrative for the House, although I don't know if that is the case.

To be fair, or at least fairer, the floor person apologized & eventually, I was able to take an open seat in the 2/4 game & a short time later, the 1/2 game opened when more players arrived. However, if I didn't manage to eke out a small profit in the 2/4 game, I would've been rally P O'd.

so looks like the PLO game at BBC talked about here was just PLO H/L according to PokerAtlas. As far as I know in NH the best bet for PLO Hi is Hampton on Friday evenings. Thank god for Ignition when I need my PLO fix.

My statement was factual. On pokeratlas Saturday it listed 1/2 PLO H/L running. If that was incorrect great.

I'm playing PLO at Hampton Falls tonight, at least I'm hoping to. It went last Friday and had a 7-8 person waiting list all night long.
