Puck is a man of the people and I can't wait to take my business to Salem NH.

CHEERS FTW!

Wondering if there were any players from, or close to, Eastern Connecticut. Looking for some people I can learn from, and bounce hands off in a group chat or get together from time to time at home or at the casinos. I'm 22 y/o rec 1/2 player looking to evolve into a 2/5 reg. Long shot but thought I'd give it a try, been on here for a week and everyone (for the most part) seem very friendly and willing to help. I'm extremely interested in learning everything to become the best I can, and unfortunately only have one other friend who plays poker serious enough to ask questions. But like me he's more of a rec player.

I apologize if this isn't the right subforum, I tried the beginner forum. It was recommended I try posting on here.

Looking forward to your replies. Thank you for reading.

Great guy and I can't imagine the strength it took to endure what he did. Game of the future my man. I know you up there getting two outed on the river but some donk.

Geez - RIP Silky (GOTF screename on 2+2 for those who didn't know). I was worried when I checked his last activity date and it was a while ago. Even when he was in tough shape the first thing he always did when he saw me was ask how my son (who has crohn's - I guess Silky either had that or UC) was doing. A great person taken far too soon.

I've heard murmurs of PLO games being spread in NH...is there anyone that runs these semi-frequently?

The only room with PLO high only is Hampton Falls. It typically goes on fri/sat. For a while there was a main game and must-move on Fridays, but it's slowed down some lately. Fwiw, I played this past Sat after not being able to get the game going Friday and won $1500 (/brag) in a game that's 1-2 blinds. So it can be really good.

A friend and I are going up Friday after work. I'll try like hell to get it going. Anyone else? paging Bugsy!

Was wondering what the general consensus is (if there is one) on where the better 1/2 nl action is on a Friday night now between Foxwoods and Twin River. I've been away from the game for a while, and it's been a while since I've played south of Boston (Twin River wasn't open then).

Don't want to take into account driving time, as I'm stopping there on my way down to NJ. Also from what I understand the Twin River wait list can get out of hand sometimes but I should be getting there early enough that it shouldn't be an issue.

Mohegan has pretty soft 1-2 games.

For 1/2 I don't think any game should be considered "hard" as you are never going to get put in some really tough spots. I think table by table can vary. You can get one or two players that really open up a game and make it very profitable and sometimes a table can just not be worth the time.

If you are driving up I'd say its up to you. Twin River does fill up as its only like 15 tables or something so you might factor that in. I don't play there often enough to give you a specific time. But I'd say pull off the highway when you need a break.

With all the politics hogging the news, I've forgotten about the Boston casino which, if I remember correctly, was said to be opening in 17. What's the word on the street?

If so I will come check it out. Back in MA/NH for the week.

Nice to see the cranes in the sky over at Wynn. Couldnt believe how much that area has changed since I was last here in November.

Inching forward.... we will be up and running....Summer 2017.... engineering, engineering, engineering. Typical part of every process, feels like "how many____ does it take to change a light bulb" times.
