I'm planning on taking a trip to either Manchester or The Poker Room. Which would people recommend. Normally I play at Foxwoods and Mohegan. If I like it up there I'll go a few times a year.

At BBCC for first time right now. 7 1/2 tables 2 2/4 tables all full. Good action clean room. I can see it being agitating if the pool section was packed, music blaring.

We plan to apply to get those games approved as well as several other concepts on both the cash, MTT, and table games side. My operating path is to Keep It Simple, keep it interesting, and make it fun and fair for our players and employees... It's going to be a big operation and because of our large space, I am able to build out poker room/ casino that will be better/comparable with any room in the country.
Going to be good for players and employees and a place of pride for the town and Charities. Personally, I'm really excited for the impact our business is going to have for so many charities and help so may people.

In July, the wife and I will be taking on a 2 week road trip/vacation/poker assault of the New England area. I will be at MGM National Harbor for 3 days, then Foxwoods. From there we will be driving to Boston, up thru NH, into Maine, looping up thru Canada to Quebec City and Montreal and then back south thru Vermont to Hartford where we will fly back to Ft. Lauderdale.

I'm looking for 3-4 more poker rooms to hit along the way. Ive already played at The Poker Room so I will skip that one. Thoughts on which other rooms I should tackle and which ones arent worth my time? I can probably play 2-4 hours at each without annoying he wife too much.

A $5 bring in and straddle size for PLO just makes sense, and IMO would be a great improvement for the game. Alternatively, if the $5 issue gets resistance, make it a $2/$2 game, with a $5 bring in / straddle option.

My honest advice would be to skip most New England rooms if you are already stopping at Foxwoods. If you are stopping already and in the vicinity maybe but why not hit Playfrojnd Poker Club when you get up north. Much bigger room and much more to do here. The rooms here are great but not worth stopping at specifically when traveling.

Seems like three possible scenarios to explain this (1) the site is just temporarily down, (2) the feared cease and desist from CBS arrived on Puck's doorstep, or (3) the plug has been pulled on the venture. Most likely (1), but hopefully Puck will come to explain and reassure us masses.
