Well, if they do, then I guess we'll have to change the date.
Like I said, it's not a definite date yet but will let you guys know soon.
Either...

1. You're not Chinese
2. You've never dated a Chinese women.

I'm definitely not Chinese, but I have dated Chinese-American women where V-Day is a big day. But in Macau, I doubt it's as big of a day as it is back in the states. Spoke to the locals and they seem to agree.

But~ Good News~ We have decided to have a tournament on Feb. 14th and 15th!! Details of the tournament will be posted very soon, and yes, it will have a bigger prize pool than the previous one!!

Omaha is not an approved game under Macau gaming regulations.
Empire City (although I don't know this for sure) was probably a loss making business venture that closed. That whole area is dead, dead, dead.

We are finally launching our Poker Room Player Card which will give you points for hours you put in the room. You can use these points towards meals, beverages, hotel, merchandise, tournaments, ferry rides, and even CASH REBATE and many more!!
will this point card only work in poker room, or will it work in the whole casino?

This will only work in the poker room. It will be a totally separate system from the casino's point cards.

Huge mistake if you separate these. Players should be able to combine points.

It's like being Pokerstars Bronze star for sng/tournaments and Platinum for cash.

Re: Poker In Macau

looking to stay for at least a month. Anyone have any suggestions for place to rent or lease for a few months? Reasonably priced please. I'd hate to stay at spas for the whole month even it adds out evenly.

Hardly any poker rooms in the states combine cards. They usually have separate cards for the poker room and the casino.

Re: Poker In Macau

I am very sorry to inform you all but we are not definite about the upcoming tournaments on Feb 14th, 15th. Please check back for more updates.

It seems like due to the Chinese New Year's, action has been quite slow in Macau the past week. I think once CNY is over, there should be some sick action back here in Macau so make sure to check out Starworld Poker Room when you get the chance. We've had some great action 100/200 games running for the past 5 days now and hopefully it'll continue. 10/20 and 20/40 games run daily as well with a lot of players straight off the learn to play tables. I've seen players win over 20k in a 10/20 game these days, so sick.
