Have no idea, but usually businesses will go on with scheduled events if there is a demand I figure.

It's still very early but the traffic back in Grand Lisboa had to be so much more. Perhaps some of the regs currently in Macau can shed some light.

Re: Macau

Hey regs, quick question:

I'll be in Macau most likely for one or two days later this month, but I'm looking to play lower limit (1/2, 2/5) stuff and maybe some blackjack/craps on the side. Any weird gambling regulations about China that I should know about? Or is everything pretty safe/similar to Vegas? Any tips for withdrawing cash (where to go to get the best rate)? Thanks!

Lots of weird gaming regulations, but probably not too many you will notice. The major difference is that in BJ the dealer only takes one card, and draws after everyone else.

You won't find much of a difference at the poker tables.

Enjoy Macau!

There was a really juicy game of 1000/2000 last night with Phil Laak with only 1 person on the list which you can jump straight into.

Re: Macau

Heading to Macau from HK today (in a few hours).

Will most likely grind for a bit, at the Wynn as per suggestions.

Too bad late notice, or could hook up with you local regs.

Let me know if you come my way, as I'm living in Bangkok.

Cheers

Re: Macau

Hey I will be in Macau from July 7-22 , and was wondering if anyone had a room for rent or could point me in the direction of a cheap clean hotel/motel that would be close to the wynn and other popular poker room hotels.

Also how hard is it to bring money into Macau(what are the methods), how do you wire transfer to the casinos? Anybody have the number, I am coming from the united states but stopping in Thailand for a few days before going to macau. Please pm me or post info here. thanks.
