Considering the rake that the top 45 players paid to get into this, I don't think this top-heavy payout structure was particularly fair tbh. Yeh, ok, it may have been "free" but what about the cost of putting all those hours in for over three and a half months!?
Anyway, apparently, there is a July promotion celebrating The Hippodrome's 50th birthday which is supposed to be incredibly juicy. Don't know exactly what it is but you heard it from yer Uncle Futtock first boys and girls.
Congrats for "making it into the money"!
I agree that I was disappointed with the prize pool. Of course it was and so it was a nice bonus, but I should just not have bothered about it. The average stack was probably worth about £300 in EV but I would have much preferred to have a sensible pay out structure, where everybody at the final table would get at least something like £400.
Mind you, it would have sucked even more to burst on the bubble with AA against 82o.
Btw, who won the Vegas package?
