Laughlin, NV - Page 4 - Venues & Communities -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I'm going to be in Laughlin the Saturday night before Christmas (Dec. 22). This thread indicates NL poker is hit and miss (2/5 at Harrah's and sometimes 1/2 at the Belle seem to be the only possibilities?), but poker aside, what are the nicest hotels and best restaurants? Basically just passing through, but would like to make the most of it while I'm there. Also, if there is a reliable 1/2 NL game these days I'd like to know where. Thanks.

Last time I was at the belle the only game running was 2-4 limit. Managed to clean out the retirees whilst getting drunk and tipping away whatever money I didn't put in the pot

Staying two nights in Laughlin before my Vegas trip, we are doing kinda of road trip before a week in Vegas.

What to do in Laughlin?
How are the Poker Games in Laughlin?

I would do only 1 night. Not much poker action but I have not been for a few years.
Usually Harrahs has a 2/5 game but its mostly the same people that play each other.
I think 1 of the other casinos has 1/2nl but probably only on weekends.

You can probably get a good rate at Harrahs with your players card, especially during the week.

edit. Just checked bravo and harrahs only has 3/6 limit and 2 on the list for 2/5nl.

I played a little at Riverside last year, very low roller OMC infested, but it has to have one of the nicest views overlooking a river in the entire world.

Being from Arizona I could just stare at the water all day.

I was in Laughlin mid-week a few weeks ago. The Riverside poker room was exactly as jcorb described - it looked miserable. I didn't see what stakes were running tho. Harrah's poker room was closed. They are only open Thurs-Sun iirc.

I live in Laughlin. The pandemic hurt poker big time as many out of state and Canadian snowbirds didn't travel. I am an O8 player and the game at Riverside rarely went. So drove to Orleans more than normal.
