Hey I'm coming to Fort Wayne, IN for a day or two this friday. I was wondering what games were available in the area? Casinos/home games? I am considering moving out there this summer possibly.

Wow .. This thread was dead for awhile.

I have found quite a few FW players at Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek, MI. I would imagine that they make the drive since the pickings are slim down there. Indiana does have charity poker rooms but I've never researched them. You may want to try the state government site. In Michigan they are called Millionaire Parties.

You will find plenty of action at Firekeepers. Fridays will have 5-6 1/2 tables and probably a 1/3 PLO and maybe a 2/5. Action will run well into Saturday. Their BBJ is 'only' AAAJJ losing to quads. It's a drive, but ... GL

I have heard good things about Fort Wayne & Auburn (next exit North) for work. I'm just not as versed in their poker world as I am Michigan's. So I can't really comment on the 'daily' poker scene, but if there was ever a place to have 'limited' travel poker options that's not a bad spot to be.

Detroit .. 3 casinos and many charity options ... Windsor too
Toledo, OH .. Good casino, 2/5 on weekends ... check them out on the Bravo app
Columbus, OH .. never been there but heard good things
Firekeepers (Battle Creek, MI) .. probably your closest casino option, very well run room with PLO 3-4 days a week
Chicago (Hammond, IN) .. very big room, larger NL games, PLO
Cincinnati, OH .. almost duplicate to Hammond
Indianapolis .. heard lots of 'big' stories about their charity rooms but never been
Cleveland .. Never been ... check them out on Bravo as well ..

Where are you moving from? I don't want to discourage you, but all you have to do is look at a map to see that there is a 'nice' 45 minute plus 'barrier' around Fort Wayne before you hit much else ... which is just the way they like it in Indiana. GL
