I'd be interested in this.. I just moved back to town after finishing school in Bloomington, so am staying with my parents until I find my own place.. but once I do would be interested in hosting a game if possible.. or if anyone else was or knows of a game currently running would be interested in that too..

Also, if anyone is ever heading to any of the local games or goes to Firekeeper's give a shout, would be cool meeting a fellow 2+2'er at the tables..

I'm bumping this thread because I'll be in the area for a few weeks. Any information about local (cash) games would be appreciated.

Guys....The rake in Fort wayne is outrageous. I have been playing the Northern Indiana games for quite a while. There are plenty of great soft games and tournys around. I will compile a list and post here soon.

Hey, just found this thread and wanted to say hello. I've played at Eagles on Bluffton Road pretty regularly(mostly just b/c it's right down the street from my house). Would be interested in hearing input about some of the other games in town, or the possibility of a home game.

The only other charity games I know of in FW are off of Goshen and Washington Ctr.

Kind of surprises me that there is another 2+2er at these charity games.

I have been to the one on Washington Ctr., but not recently. I have heard a little about the one on Goshen but I've never actually been there. I've thought about checking it out now that I have more free time during the week. I've never really heard anyone talk 2+2 any time I've played, but not surprised that there might be a couple 2+2'ers out there.

Goshen usually has just one table going. You can show up at 7 and wait for an hour to even two. Or you can show up and get right in. Laughable players. Hardly ever a feeder table, so the stacks are much smaller than at the other two places. At least at Goshen, you can get a decent pizza for free if you share with another player.

Well that doesn't make me quite so enthused to check it out, but I'm sure I'll get out there at some point. I assumed the play was as lol as at about any 1/2 game anywhere. The only bad games I've been in here in town are if I get moved to the main table at Bluffton Rd. early enough to have to sit with all the old nits.

Put in 6-7 hours today at Bluffton Rd. Didn't seem to be as big of a crowd as usual, but probably due to the nice weather. Was still a good and profitable day overall. Trying to decide still if it's worth checking out the game on Goshen Rd. tomorrow or Wednesday.

We had a 1-3 PLO game going last night at the pub ($500 max buy in) It was great, much more fun that the NLH. Do they play PLO at the other locations ever? If not, I think we need to get them to. Lots of big pots and a more fun atmosphere. Game broke after 3 hours because 1 guy took all the chips and cashed out, but i think it would have gone longer if it weren't for that. Everyone was saying that they might not let that game happen once one of the other owners or something gets back from vegas, so hopefully there is PLO somewhere.

Wow, that sounds awesome. If this were to run again, would probably get me out to the pub some time. Too bad the game didn't last very long.

if you get there and it isn't running, start it. One person said I want to play Omaha high, and within 10 min we had a 10 handed table going

I'd be curious to know this as well. I was thinking about heading to the Pub today. Does anyone know what time the cash games typically start on Friday?

There is a tourney that starts at 6 or 630, and last time i was there everyone that busted out of that headed to cash games, and there will be a list. Get there at 630ish and you should be able to get in.
