Both serve beer and wine at them, if you are a drinker.

Of the two, only the one on Bluffton road is at least WILLING to start a list for games other than No Limit texas hold 'em.

The other one, the Eagles 3512 Charity Casino on Hatfield road, well, IMO, they are kind of No Limit Texas hold 'em snobs ... every time I've been there and asked, the guy that runs it, would not even start a list for any other games other then No limit Texas Hold 'em for the cash games.

That said, they both run good tourneys.

there is also a 3rd place, that is listed on www.fortwaynenightout.com under casinos, which is:

Never been to the American Legion on as of yet as of yet ... but here are the details for the place:

Is there still interest in a home game?
I live off Dupont and would be willing to host
given a few criteria
1) I don't want to run an "underground" game, just a home game. This means
A) no rake so if you want beer it's byob.
B) probably 50nl/50plo...100nl at most to keep game friendly and not have
Lots of cash on hand. In fact if PLO is desired I'd recommend .25/.25
blinds for that portion to keep game alive.
C) this would be only/mainly 2+2ers and people they could closely vouch
For (ie don't bring people to my place you wouldn't give a key to yours)
Unfortunately this means no random fish/tougher game.
D) id need to buy chips and a table so I'd need solid interest to start the game.
E) I travel a good bit for my job so some weeks the game won't run.

Anyone interested post in the thread before PMing me.

i am, i also live off dupont (about a half mile west of coldwater) I would be down for a 50 BI, with occasional 100, but the smaller blinds for PLO is a good idea. I used to have a home game every week, but only 3 of us were really interested in poker and all the others pretty much quit after losing week after week . I could get the other 2 in most likely as well. Even if it was just sporatically played I would be down.

For you guys looking to start up a home game, have you thought of asking in the home games forum (Titled 'Home Poker) on two plus two?

I've played 1/2 rnd by rnd in Coldwater at the charity room in Sirens bar. they had two full games with casino dealers, great action. ever since its been tough to open a game but I go there every weekend and wait cause it's so close. they try to run a weekly PLO game and NL Omaha tourney on wednesdays. I got 3 buddies that want to play but need more to show up.

Anyone ever play at the 2/5 game in Bluffton? I think it runs one day each week. I heard about it the last time I was in FW, which was about 5 months ago, but never went. I'll be spending a few weeks in the area and was hoping to get some information.

The 2/5 runs regular on a weekly basis on Wed at a restaurant with a legal license. It has the best rake of all the games, but not a huge player pool. Basically everyone knows each other from the area or the FW games. Typically only one table and you may have to wait. Runs late or overnight usually. The game use to be great a couple years ago, now its ok just depends on the line up and if certain people are tilting which can make or break it. Pretty normal to have 10k+ on table.
