What limits and antes for the limit games, and blinds for PLO and NLHE?

Also what day and area are you all thinking, I will play everything but Limit Holdem its to boring...

I am in for the 8 game mix for sure. I don't care what games we play, I will play them, including limit hold em which I fine to be a great game actually.

I hit up Northville Downs a couple weeks ago in a late Saturday afternoon, and ran into pay4myschool there. They had about 3 games going at the time, ended up about +280 I believe.

I have also stopped in the Horseshoe Hammond about 3 weeks ago on my way back from Chicago and ended up winning there as well. I really like that casino/poker room for some reason, I just get a really good vibe. On the flip side, I have also visited the horseshoe in Cleveland a little while back and that might possibly be the worst casino I have ever been in (outside of Greektown of course).

I went to Atlantic City last Friday for the first time. Overall, I was pretty impressed with it. The boardwalk is really cool, the new Revel casino is amazing, and it's a pretty good overall atmosphere there, although far below Las Vegas obviously. One thing I learned, if you walk even 1 block off of the boardwalk, you enter a pretty bad neighborhood. I didn't get to play any poker while there but I did look at a few rooms to see what games they had going and most had a wide variety of games. Taj Mahal had 3 games of 5-10 7 card stud going, definetly not going to see that anywhere else in the country. I didn't make it Borgata unfortunately, which I know is THE room for poker there but oh well. Went on a hot streak at Tropicana for about $400 in blackjack and got really drunk. I will definintly return in the future.

I work with a guy that would probably play in the Mix.

I'll donate, I mean play in the 8-game given the stakes.

I'm thinking $4/$8 for limit games with blinds, $1 antes/$1 bring in for stud games, $1/$2 blinds for big bet games.

4-8 or 5-10 limit H O R S E Triple Draw Ace to 5, $1 ante for stud games. Or 2-10 low card bring in for stud games no ante?

1-2 PLO 150 BB cap?

I'll play if its atleast 4-8, 3-6 is way to boring, plus makes antes so high bc they must be $1.

You can play 8 handed, at the Imperial Palace mix game they simply have the 2 players to the left of the BB sit out the TD rounds when 8 handed.

I'm in. It really depends where though. Heading out to the eastside (Snookers etc) is over an hour away from AA. IDK if kwackbars still posts in the thread, but I know he plays mixed games. I'm down to play whatever (Razz>Big O), just depends on which nights and where.

Sunday boredom has been cured, I have 100 bucks on bovada. Lets see how long it takes for me to make a dumb sports bet instead of grinding.

What's everyone's opinion about trip kings or any other charities in that area?

I think we need to find a place to let us have 2 separate 8 game tables ( more then 8 people want to play so...

Also try to get a cheaper rake, and free food for the first table to show up or something!!!

And who ever is a 2 + 2 player split them up i.e. if there are 12 of us make two six handed tables...

So if people want to jump in we might get a few soft seats.

Also Chipotle is so darn good!!!

So when we had the mix game at trip kings last year, they gave us a great rake, like $2 I believe as well a bunch of free food. They are very desperate for games, especially if we could make it a regular one.

The problem lies with the lack of traffic that they have there. There is almost a 0% chance we attract any new players from there as most of those morons think NLHE and PLO is the only game.

If it's only a private game, I don't think Trip Kings is a bad choice, especially since it's close to me, but I'm open for anywhere.

Is Trip Kings the place next to a bar (used to be called Sneaky's or is called Ultimate Sports bar now) in a shopping center off Lilly rd or Sheldon rd?

If so the last time I played their it sounded and felt like I was at a rave while I played. This was about 6-9 months ago on a weekend night.

Is it still like that now?

I think I seen a radio station truck outside so that might be why it was so loud, and was a one time special thing?

If its the place I am thinking off I think it is a really decent room, and the staff and floor were nice, competent dealers, tables seemed to be a little close together but over all it was good room minus the sound and pulse from the bar next door. If its still super loud, i think sunday would be best if it is always loud like that but i will play any day either way. I also think its right in the middle for everyone who posts here, and would be a good spot to try and get a game going. Plus if what 2blacks says we can get a low rake, that makes a huge difference.
