Another metro Detroit native here. I mostly lurk these forums but contribute from time to time. Since work started I've been playing tournaments more often. I usually play at Electric Stick at least once a week. I also play at Motor City a lot whenever I feel like playing a cash game.

I really like the DETPokerz website idea, would you take submissions for articles on the blog?

That was really sick, pretty sure you were going to start shooting the place up after that. Btw that dude called an all in on the final table w/ Q3 vs AK and the board ran out AQ7103. I ended up getting out in 7th for 270. Picked up 10s but ran into Qs.

76 at the stick today for the $100 tourney. finished 11th. playing 6 handed w/ two tables left, i'm the bb for 20k. i've got 140k. sb limps, i have 77. i'm all in, he calls with queens of course.

Just got back from Soaring Eagle playing in the satelites for the Michigan Poker Classic. I gotta say, the MPC is going to suck compared to the HPT. Anyone here play of the satelites or is planning on playing in the MPC??

@detpoker list of all poker rooms currently using licenses updated and sorted by county. Had to go through the Millionaire Party Locator http://milottery.state.mi.us/cg-mplocator.php searching by county to locate rooms. I did not include charities holding their own Millionaire Party at their establishment since it's usually 1-4 days in a row and only 4 times per year.
