I also was playing 1/2 at Greektown at Noonish during lunch for about an hour. Its almost sad how much Greektown has fallen. I remember coming in there 6 or 7 years ago and there was minimum of 10 tables going on. Lots of noise and excitement. Games lasted all night long. I remember several times staying there until 10 AM the next day.

First time I have been at the new poker location- still remember all the dealers. The lady at the cage was exceptionally nice. The old Greektown reminds of the current Snookers room, lol. Does Greektown ever get busy or play PLO anymore?

Played a couple of hours after work last night at Hollywood Toledo. They were running one of their tournaments and it was well attended (60 runners). Cash game was pretty easy as usual down there. There was one angry old lady that kept slapping the railing on the table every time she lost a hand. Even when her K3 lost to my AK on a KK5AQ board.

Most players were afraid to get involved. I guess that's what turns you into a nut peddler. One hand I raised from BB with JJ, hit JT3 all diamonds board. I bet half pot, got check raised by sb, and I three bet him for $80 more and he tank folded. I was pretty sure we were getting it in, but he folded.

I had to drive to Columbus so I couldn't stay long. Nice room. I like the fishing there too.

I've seen some crazy aggro monkeys on the weekend there. Young guys trying to be be pro poker players mostly. But some 'gambool' type players too.

We use to play PLO8 at Cadas on Sat and they played it at Pampas on Weds. If there is enough interest, I am sure we can get it going again at Cadas pretty much any night.

Columbus used to have a place called the Gemini Club. I never played there, but I heard it was good. It might still be running.

It was a struggle to get the Saturday game at Cadas going. I never understood it.

Im assuming the Wednesday game is still going on since i still get phone calls asking if im playing even though i said i wouldnt be back til Sept. That game was limping badly last i played. Used to start at 8, but was struggling to get started by 10. Things might have changed...i dunno

Finally had some friends who came up and took me to some place out in the sticks called The Kit Kat Klub. Wasnt a strip club but a karaoke bar. The table next to us was having a bachelorette party. Sang love shack into a 12 inch purple dildo. Solid free weekend

Have him register for an account here and post in the thread. I know that thats how the mix game in Canton was started, and I think that thats how the PLO8 game stayed around for as long as it did.

Is online or phone registration available? It seems that if you reg before 12:00 am on Sat, you get additional 2000 chips. How unfair is that!!
