Last time I played it was waiting for a seat in the O8 game. Two 3-6 pros were berating the play of this woman who played every hand and saw every turn for almost two hours and was cleaning up. "This is a joke, this isn't poker, what an idiot..grumble grumble" the lady was cool and took it well she said something like "im still very new but I consider myself a serious poker player who's learning" the variance gods were pointing towards her side of the field as she had nearly 800-900 in white chips.

Anywho after two hours stuck listening to the pros I piped up "none of you are beating this game when your playing it everyday and the casino taking 100-120 chips off the table an hour" before they could say anything this lady dealing said "he's speaking the truth" table went silent and she muttered that she shouldn't have said anything. I laughed and said they'll still play it anyways.

Got called to the game and cherry bombed my 600 to the table after being put on 3-6 tilt. I told one of the regs in O8 games, never again. I love playing limit out in Vegas, but damn some of the lifers in that game at the greek make poker miserable

You're such a giver.

I would like to play a RxR tonight. I'll have to see if I can get away to join you.

For the love of god please let my table break. Easily the hardest table I've been at in any charity event.

In MI this is usually the case. I played the OE game in AC this past week and the game changed when the dealer changes (30 minutes).

Well lit, lots of tables, good dealers and floor management. Did not try the food, but table service was evident. People were eating at the tables.

Player pool was pretty soft. Typical bad bet sizing and passive play. Was not difficult until later in my session when a younger more aggressive player sat two to my left. Lucky for me I ended up stacking him when my pocket aces held on a nine high flop. He shoved on the turn with what he claimed was pocket kings played in a tricky way.

I would definitely play there again, and I think we will have a good time there on December 17.

Re: Detroit

I chopped the 7 pm at Cada's tonight for $350. The tournament was $40 with 58 runners and I'd be way happier if my AA didn't lose a ~$700 pot to JJ in the cash game on a J 9 4 rainbow flop. Joe was playing the same table which was pretty cool. The room is actually really nice with competent dealers and waitstaff. I'm looking forward to replacing the River as my regualr tournament.
