Ok thanks. Yea the Arab guy must work days I've only seen him when I'm there before 8. On the other, if it's who I'm thinking(his name starts why Y), then I like you have seen him make usually correct calls.

Ugh that's nasty. My fault, I misread the hand. Eww, runner, runner and he hits the boat? Or even nastier 10 10.

Or Flush. As described, villain could have flopped an open ended straight flush draw.

Re: Detroit

Coming to town this weekend for Supercross at Ford Field. Last year played at Greentown and the dealing was pretty terrible. Any improvement since then or should I just head over to MGM?

I'd head to MGM, they opened up a new room. Some of the dealers are bad, but never played s greektoen enough to compare.

All the rooms have some bad dealers imo. MGM seems to be trending up in game selection and amount of action. Nice new room. MCC still has lots of action but also still an ashtray.

I hear Toledo has a very nice $690 tournament. If you bag both Day 1s you get $3000 bonus. Late start at 5:15 PM Friday and Saturday. Also has a $100 Senior tournament on Sunday.

Firekeepers is starting their 'countdown' to MSPT. Every Friday and Saturday at Noon and Friday night at 630 they will hold the $65 Super Satty. Top 20% win $250 towards ME or ME Satty.

Saturday nights at 630 they will have the $260 ME Satty. 20% win ME entry for Thursday May 18th or Friday May 19th. Must pick 'day' upon winning. These are easy to sell (sign over) for a nice 4x profit. No more Saturday bounty tournament until MSPT is complete.

Firekeepers will have their $240 this Sunday.

I don't normally look at Poker Atlas, not sure what the charity rooms are doing in that area. GL

I've never really felt the smoke 'in' the poker room, but upon entry and exit it hits you hard ... more so if you play in the 2nd room.

Everyone is at least checking out MGM, so at least consider it.

MCC has increase BI for 2/5 to $800 and is now 9-handed, not 10.

MCC has also made changes to PLO tables, not sure what.

MCC will turn over their wait list much quicker, check with both at least an hour before you want to play.

Haven't been to GT in years, but you can find a few amazing games there .. you just rolling the dice you will be there when one breaks out. GL

Re: Detroit

Dealers at GT are consistently the worst in town IMO. Game can be good before/after a sporting event.

MGM has some bad ones, as does MCC. MGM's seem to just be slow, MCC's tend to **** up side pots more often.

I notice the smoke in MCC, as well as walking through the casino. MGM's is also smokey if you're close to the entrance.

Regardless of where you go, call ahead by about 30-45 mins if you can. The direct lines are in the first post of the thread.

For what it's worth, Mgm is just as close to Ford Field as Greektown, there's just a lot less to do between Mgm and Ford Field if you're looking for dinner or drinks or anything besides gambling. No reason to be "stuck" at Greektown.
