I appreciate the hard work people are contributing to the cause, but it is hard for me to get excited about this. The traffic in New Jersey looks terrible. It's a small step in the right direction though.

agreed. if it eventually leads to inter-state or us wide legal online poker that would be great but I imagine MI legal online poker traffic would be as bad or worse than NJ.

You underestimate the snow birds and retirees. Online poker in mi won't be booming, but it will be online poker in Michigan

Even if this bill is passed, will the player pool be bigger than the already legal U.S. sites like Ignition, ACR, Merge, etc.?

Well I think its common knowledge that Michigan's population is larger then the United States and the rest of the world which ACR and Ignition already cater to.

So yes the Michigan sites should have a much larger player pool once this gets passed.

Exactly. So I really don't see why anyone would be excited by intrastate poker clients.

Action was relatively slow. I got tilted beyond belief after losing a 600+ pot when this guy hits a gutterball straight with a 2 on the river to beat my set and up and down straight draw.

Pretty good action at MGM last night, but the dealer situation is just laughable at this point. I thought one of the dealers was literally going to fall asleep in the middle of the hand. He was moving like he was dealing underwater.

Caesars has a tournament series starting up in 2 weeks. Will these tournaments get a huge turn out and would it be worth it to drive there from toronto?

Any info on the structure for these tournaments? Not finding anything on the website.

They like to keep them secret. If I had to guess it would be: for the $130: 20 min blinds, 15k stack. ok structure. for the $690: 30 min blinds, 20k stack, above avg structure.
