I'd be curious to see a list of the charities who spoke the loudest against the new rules. Im wondering if they're putting the rooms that were more vocal on the back burner for getting a licence.

When you're playing online, is it legal to have somebody telling you what actions to take? Is there a "one player to a hand" rule?

I once saw 4 guys sitting at a table at borders books in Ann Arbor playing on their laptops. Can you say collusion ?

Usually they don't allow you to to sit at the same table if you're playing in the same house; Unless it's an MTT.

It is likely against the rules at most sites but difficult/impossible to detect. Honest coaches that ghost students discuss how they (mis)played hands after the hand is over while they are folding waiting for their next playable hand.

I believe the term is ghosting. I guess it's illegal but it's nearly impossible to prove unless you straight up witness it or get the player to admit it. So really it's more frowned upon than anything.

You'll hear about it a lot in high stakes games. Player A is a good high stakes player, so good that people usually won't sit him. Player B is friends with player A, and is not very good. Player A plays on Player B's account in order to get action since opponents will think they're playing a weaker player.

Some coach posted a video of it, lol. I am assuming it wasn't for play chips.

That would be flat out multi-accounting IMO and less of a grey area, but once again it is hard for the site to detect it is happening.

Some sites may not have rules against it but I definitely feel it is unethical. The coaching should be done after the hand completed while waiting for the next non-standard spot which is why I think if you are paying for coaching you get more EV out of it if you just edit down a video of the tough spots or send/discuss the tough hands with your coach instead of having him tell you how to play a handful of spots during an hour session. You might have him ghost you for an hour and end up with no difficult hands that truly require coaching.
