Does anyone know what games/limits they spread there lately?

I know Isle of Capri in Lake Charles got rid of 3/6/12 limit and replaced it with 4/8 limit, and I was wondering if Coushatta did the same.

3-6-12 is a great game. Wish they had it in Las Vegas.

We spread 3-6-12. I won't mention the casino name, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Played at Coushatta on weekend in Feb 2010. Had $4-8 limit and $2-5 no limit (must move), plenty of tables at both limits, also started one $2-3 NL on Sat night.

I'll be going back to Louisiana for a month or so and figured I'd try out the poker room. Whats the action like during the week?

It can be pretty spotty during the week. I wouldnt expect much the the Jackpot at the Isle now at $385K.

They have a 1/3 that runs daily.

Also they are having a drawing on the weekends, for cash and I pad 2, Christmas day giving away a motorcycle. Also they have aces cracked on Monday and Wednesday. So they are trying to attract players. Bad beat is about 129,000.

does the 2/5 game always run on weekdays? been there a few times on weekends and the poker room is huge! def worth the 30 min drive for me

The 2/5 runs on the weekends, and the 1/3 runs 7 days a week. depends on who is there if the get a 2/5 on the weekday.


Also the have the 7 clans tournament starting on the last weekend of March.

They gave the "special rate for tourny players " to anyone who called and asked for them. Soldout for over a week now.

I would have to say the 7 Clans Poker Series was a SUCCESS. Event #1 (Mega Satellite) drew 287 players and awarded 38 packages ($1300 in TEC's) plus $800+ to the bubble. Event #2 ($300 NLH) drew an amazing 296 players. 20 way chop!! 7th place money for all winners. Aprox. $3800 each. The Main Event ($1000 NLH) was sold out the day before and got in 27 alternates for a total of 267 players!! Cash games have been spreading 4/8 LHE; 1-3 and 2-5 NLH; and 5-10 PLO. Always gonna be some complaints of course...not enough tourney tables (24), not enough hotel rooms on property blocked off for tourney players, etc. Lots of compliments too. Next 7 Clans will be Fall 2012.

NITS...it's terrible...really really terrible.

Although I can't speak for the weekends...my buddy and i went last wednesday to play 4/8 and i couldn't play more than 45minutes before going to 1/2nl...and it was just as bad there. Everyone just wanting to chop blinds. I raise to 9 and i got strange looks from this old woman who then went on to complain that she couldn't play her jackpot hand (J7s because of my raise...

The limit game was just unbearable. Nl slightly better but still miserable.

You are correct, the limit game is almost unbearable. Not enough dead money, and the 1-2 blinds at 4/8 are no good.

No more tournements, the dealers cant play there anymore, and no more mini jackpots as of today.

yea forgot to mention that 1/2 blinds are just really bad for the game as well.
