I was playing with the 22 guy yesterday and he said he took like 5 days off cause it made him so sick. Not to be "that guy" but I can't believe how many flopped quads vs boats I've personally been at the table for for the last 3 or so months.

This is where limit poker is sorely missed. 3/6..5/10 limit would be great in this room and Mr. 22would have seen the flop.

GT had a 3/6 game going on yesterday, even that was Saturday. Normally 3/6 players show up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Two full tables continued for many hours. Even 1/2 players were playing 3/6. Chasing the bad beat...

Went to eat in Greektown and the casino was charging $40 to park today. Any idea why? There wasn't anything going on downtown today that I'm aware of...

Ate at HRC yesterday. Parking garage was closed. Parked on the street for free.

Trip report .... Had Wedding in Troy-ish area. Check charity site and found 5-Star Lanes super close by on Big Beaver Road.

Friday 10:30 PM .. Sat down to at least three $1k stacks and promptly lose 80% of starting stack in the 2nd hand to River counterfeit 2 pair. From there is was all up hill (?) to a very nice cash out. Table wanted to convert to RxR at 12:30 AM and player who just sat down refused ... so the table chased him to 'down' $1100. He was resilient and worked his way back up to cashing out $920.

Saturday 11:30 PM .. Sat down in RxR game (Had a 1/2 going also) that converted to PLO only by 12:30 AM. Ran super good except when a guy hit quads on the River against my Turned AA w/flush set. They had enough of the 'Guest from the West' by closing. Peak .. $1480, cash a little less than that after chasing the quad loss (almost $800) back up.

For around only 6 hours of play it kept me close to the hotel, saving me the drive down I75 to the casinos, and luckily sat right down each night.

This room has 2 great dealers who try to keep a reg infested group in line. Never heard so many F-bombs before though, no biggie to me!! I could play here 'often' even without the hedge that I turned an above average profit in a short period or time. Interesting that this room still does showdowns .. One guy who I thought was pretty decent lost his whole stack in 7 minutes on Friday night!! I told them 'Not my thing .. ' GL

Confirmed ... UTG raise from guy with AA-QQ only. I call with 9T anyway.

Flop is T67 ... UTG bets 'pot' ... call, duh!

Turn is T ... UTG checks, I bet 50% of pot. UTG pauses and states "I know you have a ten, but I'm shoving anyway." I call.

River is A .. UTG turns over AA I muck ...

UTG asks, "Did you have a 10?" I say, "Nah, Queens."

UTG states .. "Well then the best hand won!!" GL

lol Sounds about right.

I wonder how some of the regs even know how to get dressed in the morning.

Finally.

They must have realized how expensive an in-house patched together mess would be, and gotten tired of yelling at each other like morons to try to keep seats full.

Hopefully they add some comp $ to cards with Bravo, so we can get some slightly better **** food at the fine restaurants of MCC.

Bravo doesn't help that problem at all. That being said, there is talk of putting in key pads on the table to alert the front when there's a seat open. Then it falls on the floor staff to actually pay attention. MGM uses that system and dealers still have to call when they have a seat open.

Don't hold your breath. As I've always been told, they don't comp per hour because of all they offer in the room. Of course, MGM comps $1 an hour and still provides food and drinks in the room, but we'll see what happens.

Playing live cash in Detroit tonight for the first time in almost two months. Probably hitting the bad beat.

Hopefully the wait at MCC isn't bad tonight (assuming you mean that Bad Beat and not the Greektown one).

Current wait lists at MCC at 2:45 on Friday afternoon: 24 for 1-2 NL, 26 for 2-5 NL, 42 for 5-10-20 NL, and 17 for 5-10 Limit HE

Another brutal finish for me last night. RxR tourney at Vision. $1000 up top. 7 left.
For the chip lead: lady limps w/ 101057. I have AA105 one suit. I pot, she calls. Flop 1022. Had 1.5 bbs left, finished 7th gg.

Has anyone played at the Auburn Bar in Shelby? I saw they posted in Facebook marketplace about 1/2 game they hold. Curious how the games are.

Greektown bad beat hit...I don't know any of the details at all, just know Bravo says the BB is down to $20,200 and the qualifier is back up to Quad 8's or better beaten.

Woah, 5-10 Limit Holdem? Did this actually get spread, because I might run down in an hour

Fairly certain it's only Sunday-Wednesday, 1/2 game, 50-300 buy in. I stopped in a couple times around 5:30 and they didn't have a game going yet, but it could have just been a bad night or something.

Not yet, but there appears to be a growing interest. I wasn't there today (all my info was just from the MCC app), but two days this week I was on the list and they did an interest check but only ended up with 5 players. Not sure it ever actually went. But, it seems like the best way to hit the bad beat if you ask me

Looks like it may be running.

I think it's a wash as far as bad beat likeliness goes though. More eligible hands go to the flop but fewer hands dealt per hour.
