• $20 add-on at 1st break • 50,000 (after 5th level)
• $20 add-on at 2nd break • 100,000 (after 10th level)

Both the Friday and Saturday (Bounty) night tournaments are fairly new. They were added when the expansion of the room was completed along with a hiring spree to accommodate some turn-over and 'needs' for the MSPT tournament. The room 'needed' to create some dealers hours for the newbies.

Last Saturday's Bounty ($125, $25 bounty, 1 re-entry) had over 40 alternates! Granted they were giving away trucks that day/night, but I was told that they had 18 cash and 4-5 tournament tables with that many alternates in the mix. GL

Thanks Alex and for the kind words gents. Sorry for the long wait on the reply but I was having fun in the Keys after the event, Fishing, SCUBA and some minor degeneracy.

The winner (Raminder) was a super nice guy.

I like that you're both pointing out which place the other finished in.

Sorry to interrupt,

Are any of you Detroit Greektown regulars?

I have a casino question that I'm hoping someone could answer.

I hear that they have a new pulse arena machine that has baccarat.

I'm wondering how much time is there to bet on that game.

Also I see that they have roulette with it as well.

How much time does it allow you to bet AFTER the ball is spun?

There's 10 seconds left to bet after the ball has been launched?

or are you referring to baccarat?

For roulette, ya make your bet, while ball is launched it says no more bets, it takes about 10 seconds to figure out number, once number is down then you get about 10 seconds to make bet again.. repeat etc

Once ball launched 2/3 seconds maybe to get bet in before says no more bets

Only 2 or 3 seconds...bummer. I was hoping for 7 or 8 seconds after ball launch.

Thanks for checking!

It was mentioned a few days ago in this thread but I got this email from PPA today:

Quote:
Great news! Tomorrow, the Senate Regulatory Reform Committee is expected to hold a hearing and vote on SB 203, a bill that would legalize and regulate internet poker and other forms of iGaming in Michigan. This recently introduced bill is on the fast track. It was only introduced last week and it already is moving through the legislative process.

In other great news, PPA executive director John Pappas is slated to testify on behalf of Michigan poker players and licensed iGaming enthusiasts at the hearing tomorrow.

We anticipate the bill will pass the committee since 6 of the 9 committee members have already publicly supported the bill! But the heavy lifting will start immediately after the committee vote. We need to get SB 203 passed out of the full Senate, through the state House and to the governor’s desk this year.

We have come a long way and there is still much more we need to do. It is imperative that we continue to have a voice in the process and John is proud to be a part of it. At this time no action is needed on your part but please be on the lookout for important ways to help push this bill along once it passed the committee. Your voice will be key to whether this bill becomes law or not. Together we can bring licensed iPoker to the Wolverine State!

Proud to play,

Martin Banski
Michigan State Director
