I'm thinking of going, but oddly enough I also have tickets to the Michigan/MSU game that weekend. I went during the Chicago Poker Classic. Ran horribly in the tournaments, but the cash games were soooo juicy.

Cada's had 20 people in the tourney last night, 10 people playing cash, and like 20 people playing black jack.

Have tomorrow off, was thinking about putting in a day time grind session. Anywhere have good action during the day, besides Snookers(which I already know about)...

Toledo worth checking out on a Friday morning/afternoon???

They ran multiple (2) 5/10 PLO a 10/25 NL/PL which changed over to a 10/25 PLO game.

Hammond should go crazy again during the WSOPC. Check Bravo Poker Live during the tourney series, or post/read the Hammond thread.

Little TR from last night. Haven't done 1 in a while:

First hand I sat down (i was late getting there) and lost 7K thinking the guy was on a draw and my 66 was good. So I folded a while and didn't do much for a bit. Blinds are 100/200 and get about 6 limpers and I check the BB with 78hh. Flop comes out 2J9hhh. I bet out 1k. MP calls, LP calls, SB shoves for 4500, I shove for 21k total. Both guys have me covered. MP tanks for 3 minutes and folds. LP tanks for 3 minutes and calls with KhJd. SB had Q5hh, MP says he folded 64hh. 2 other people said they folded heats and I spike the Th for the straight flush on the turn. #runninggood

I'm being a bully for a while after that and run up to about 100k when I get QQ after raising the Button and CO the 2 hands before. I raise again with blinds are 300/600 to 2500 with 1 limper. SB was the only 1 to call. Flop is 349r. I bet out 4500 on the flop and he calls. Turn is a 7 and i bet out 20k and he calls. River is a 4 and he bets out 20k and I call. He turns over 64o. #runningbad

I dwindle down to 12k and raise to 2500 with blinds are 500/1000 from the CO with J9s. Flop comes 875r. I shove and get 2 calls. Bink the 10 on the turn for the nutz and beat a set and top/bottom. #runninggoodagain

I ran my stack up to 80k without a show down after that. I had been 3 betting a lot mostly because I had good hands. New guy sits down on my right and bets to 3k UTG with blinds are 700/1400 and I just smooth call with AKo. Old guy on my left tries to raise to 5k but ruled a call. Button makes it 15k and original raiser shoves for 30k. I fold. Old guy calls, button shoves for 100k and old guy calls his last 15k. It's button with AA, UTG JJ and old guys with KK. Old guy spikes the 1 outer on the turn. #funtable

The table was so easy I didn't have a show down again that wasn't checked down from the blinds until the FT. I get there with 160k and ran it up to 650k with 22 > AJ. We are down to 6 and I lose AIPF with AThh < 22, 99 < AK and then AKs < A2s when he hit the wheel on the river. Finished 6th for the triple up.

Fun night out and lasted long enough to make it past midnight to celebrate my 40th Bday with an iced tea bought by 64o guy.

played in the electric stick tourney tonight. flopped trips 3 times before the first break, lost all three. last one, had pocket nines, blinds 100 200. one limper, i make it 1300. bb and limper call. flop 9 7 2 rainbow, bb bets 1500, limper calls, i call. turn 8. check check. i bet 3k, bb makes it 10k etc etc he had 56, i didn't hit.
taylor is on my way home, still early, decided to play their tourney... 1010 vs qj aipf no good, jack on river.
last hand, i'm on button w/ 150k. blinds 6k12k. folded to me holding 10d9h. i make it 30k. bb calls, has me covered. flop is 789 all diamonds. he goes all in. wow, nice flop. i call, he has 56, i don't hit.
i didn't even realize as I'm typing this that 56 knocked me out of both tournies lol.

Made the final table of the 2pm Friday as chip lead w/ 350k. First hand I'm UTG +1 w/QQ blinds are 7/14k UTG limps I make it 50k guy two behind button pushes for 170k , gets folded to UTG he puts his 150k in. My QQ vs MPs AA vs UTGs KK, dude spikes a K and triples up.

Second hand of the final table I get AJclubs bump it up to 35k get two callers, flop comes AK3 two spades, first to call pushes 150k I call he has J3 spades and hits his flush. Third hand of the final table I'm BB with 30k left, don't even look at my hand as UTG pushes for 120k, it's folded around to me and I look down at AQo and hope that this is the start of a comeback, he has JJ and I'm out. FML

I played some cash at one of the charity rooms I frequent I won't say which one but anyways I get dealt AA in MP with 2 limpers. I raise to $15 (my raise size always varies based on table and action) which one player (super donk) calls.

The flop comes A 10 4 rainbow. I check and super donk who has $145 left immediately goes all in and the pot is only like $40. I'm like "Did I hear this correctly? Did he really say all in?" obv I call feeling like a 6 year old on Christmas morning and he shows up with a weak ace drawing dead.

After I call he says to me "Nice hand, good call". LOL! I mean how should I take that comment like their was anything to think about!

Made day 2 of the Michigan Poker Classic. We started with 84 players and ended the day with 15 left. Expecting like 150 for flight-b and they probably will end day with 25 players or less.

The structure was horrible and the floor was incompetent. They have no business running a $1,500 tournament at Soaring Eagle.
